I removed this chunk from the down pipe, the rest is cut/turn. The plan was to run it straight down that side of the frame(outside), but my super expensive fancy muffler barely didn't fit without rubbing so I stuck a glass pack on there and it sounds HORRIBLE under power.

So now I'm going up over the frame, or thru it, and using the flowmaster dbx hushpower.
Sorry. I feel I may have been the one to lead you to believe a glasspack would work adequately. At least they are cheap?

Front axle is winning, nice work!

Nice work brosef!

It was destiny, nothing else would fit way back there. My coworker told me they're fine too. I'm going thru the frame, 3.5" sleeve, if there's real estate.

It's not as bad as the stingers we put on our bugs in high school!! :D it just annoys my kid when he puts skrillex on the ipod and still hears glass pack. I'm not sure which noise is worse sometimes though, lol!

I got this now(pics), but need to open it up a bit as it's actually too restrictive per a VERY knowledgable land cruiser fab guru, don(fc187), Georg's shop partner.

It's 3.5" .250 wall, or close to that. It's technically pipe w a machined seam weld.

This better work out tits, I've cut out an rewelded those damn O2 sensor bungs enough...and once it's in it's a done deal since I just welded it out w factory flanges. Might try to fit the tail section of factory the tubing out the back. My Elocker wiring got brittle from exhaust heat exiting near it on the last 80.

I gotta hurry, I work at 4

I've got two factory truck exhaust rubber grommet deals opposing each other at diagonals in the same location(instead of just letting it hang from them) so it can't really move much. I was very apprehensive on this but No rattle at all , even on startup.

This particular muffler actually makes the i6 sound sexy(thank god). I usually hate all motors, except those with 8 or more cylinders, aucoustically.

Very nice sir, what is the part number of that Flowmaster and what's the OD of Don's punch?
