12voltguy .com. Darren's work is pretty darn clean. You don't get email alerts like. 'Big' companies send for status/shipping. But this arrived in less than 8 business days and I have ZERO complaints. Really nice part and all pre wired(plug and play).

Very cool on the exhaust through frame. Nice.

It comes with the connectors?
Yeah, looks like it will bolt up right where the factory switch exists for lockers, but I can't confirm right now. It's 2.5x2.5 with supplied nut certs and hardware as well as regular screws.

I went spartan($316 on sale @ lowrangeoffroad off-road, drop shipped in one day from marlin) in front combined as a part time 4wd w aisin lockouts. Elocker rear that I'll just lock and forget about at the trail head unless I wanna pivot a tire around a tree or rock that's gonna kiss the rear sheet metal.

Using 300m rear shafts to combat the potential twisted spline Elocker issue. But they're real expensive so they'll have to wait while I roast the credit card in other areas(I need custom front shafts just to get 4wd at this point).

I desperately need another rear axle to get a head start on the rear links. I think I found one w a bad diff for ~$250

If you need a rear diff I have one.

If you can make a 9.5 diff fit in an 8" front housing you can have both :hillbilly:

Do you mean an 80 front housing? I have a set of 80 and 60 series knuckle balls. But I can't beat diamond or ruffstuff pricing(or strength of the formed center section). I don't have the $550 jig setup anymore either.

BUT, what would premade factory sized 9.5 fronts sell for? a 63.5 built 9.5 front that uses the stock 80 front shafts. It would be a 60/62 rear housing with 80 knuckles, built on the jig with 4wu link brackets (or similar) installed.

Just thinking out loud...

There's a custom 80 width axle (housing and knuckles) local to me that runs the 9.5 with 80 outers. Ready to be thrown into someone's rig for $500, and I'm sure he could be talked down.

I would think it would have to be packaged with the frame brackets, links, possibly shocks, and you could leave out the knuckles and tack $1k on top of 4WU's pricing. That's if everything was welded on the axle with the customer's caster and pinion angle requirement. JMO

How do I set caster and pinion angle AND leave out the knuckle balls?

You can't... When I read the post quoted below, I took it as you were providing the knuckles for some odd reason. I see now that you were just explaining the setup.

You realize a 4wu install is $2500 @ the 'factory'?

I guess I missed that from him. So it would be half of that (half of the brackets installed) + axle cost + the time it would take to set up the axle.

I wish this would be a fruitful endeavor, but I don't see the interest to justify to time and money. It would be a product and service, searving a market more niche than 4WU's and last time I looked he wasn't sold out from his kickoff promotion.
