FWIW, the 285/75/16s did affect my towing abilities. I can pull a 3500# boat reasonably well, but I think that 35s and a 5500 trailer would be awful if you headed across the "hills" north, east or west of Knoxville.

do you ever have to re crank torsion bars ?
i'll throw one in the hat too. i have not found in my recent searching whether anyone is running a 00+ LC with lockers. i saw ARB lockers on slee's site for '98+, but i never really read about them here on ATRAC trucks. anyone doing this?
I knew it would be cost prohibitive, but for your sake, I went to a Toyota parts site, and started looking up some parts for the front suspension. There is no "kit" as no one (that I know of) has ever "added" AHC. I got to about $2700 for a few of the front components and then lost interest. So, I would guess $6,000-8,000 MSRP, for parts and then add labor, if you are having it done.
Wowzers..... 6-8k, no thanks... I was thinking 3k.....OME is fine for me with a body lift.... Then the AVO supercharger with exhaust kit.

Yes, lockers work fine with ATRAC. When a locker is engaged, ATRAC will not detect slippage and therefore ATRAC will not activate (on that axle).
i figured as much, but who is running them? i never read anything about the setup or experience. i'm lead to believe that the ATRAC trucks really dont need a locker to get most people to most places... but i figured that *someone* would have the ultimate land machine somewhere?!! no response necessary

Got a couple of boxes from Crutchfield (and a few other places) today... Will be doing a navi/DVD/BT/XM install with rear view camera and overhead DVD monitor next week... pics to come... Picked up a Kenwood DNX6140 on the cheap. Merry Christmas to the cruiser!

Yeah, those look nice... We were trying to do the whole schmeer for around a grand though...
Rebuilding and revalving my Fox Shocks. New steering rack is ordered along with lower control arms and poly bushing kit. Always something to do on it! But given where it takes me its a small price to pay!
OK... i did a Dumb S**t move about 5 min ago. I was reinstalling my rear view mirror and was distracted by my little girl.... well I glued the puck upside down. Any tips on removing it without breaking the wind shield?
