My unit will work along with your factory radio.
What that really means is you just run the speaker wires from the bluetooth unit to the existing speakers. Keep in mind the quality of the speakers determines the quality of the sound.
Having both turned on will also create feedback. So one or the other.
There's other ways to do this as well.
