hello there. I’m new to all this so excuse me if I did something wrong. I have a LX450, on J’s with 33x12.5x17’s right now. I’m looking to up it up to 37’s but I didn’t want to lose those fender flares.... is there any way I’d be able to not lose the J’s and not lose the fender flares and still fit those 37’s?

Yes. Bump stop spacers and appropriate backspcing.

I ran sequoia wheels with 5.5" bs IIRC so one inch inboard. Rubbed frame rail in back at full stuff but i didnt have bump drops nor did i care about a lil frame polish.

And not excessive either. I ran the j springs with 37's and flares for years. Eventually got 4" front just to cure the stinkbug stance.

I run a 365/75R16 (works out to be a 37.5" x 14.4"), stock suspension, stock wheels, 3" body lift. Some trimming of the inner front wheel wells, and bits of the flares themselves got them to fit. Run the inner rear wheel wells, and the radius arms up front. Since a normal 37" tire is narrower, those two can be mostly avoided if using a wheel that sets the tire roughly even with the outside of the flare.

J's with Spring Spacer Up front to level out. BFG 37x12.5x17 been full tuck with no rub, it all has to do with the offset of the wheels and proper bump stop lengths.

Sequoia wheels, 1-1/4" spacers, J OME W/ 1-1/2" front coli spacers. Care is needed with wheel backspace/spacers and bump stops, but not a huge deal.

My wheels are 17x9 with a -12et offset. Bump stops are also extended

I learned from @Tools R Us
I have a fully documented my jurney to fitting 37s just click link in my signature below.

What 365/75/16 tire are you running...?

BFG KM2's. I will move to a 37x12.5x17 when these wear out.

What wheels spacers, coil spacers, and bump stops do you have?
They are Metal Tech 1.5" front spring/strut spacer and 2" Bump stop extensions. I do not have any wheel spacers.

I have OME 851 front coils with 30mm MAF spacer and 860 rear coils. I netted roughly 3 inches of lift and have 1 inch wheel spacers. I have no rubbing in the rear and very minimal rubbing in the front. I think with some body work with the help of a hammer or some bump stop drops up front it won’t rub at all.

I had to get rid of the mud flaps

I’m running Cooper Discover At3

37x12.5x1

Attached a pic of how it rubs up front
