Has anyone put a set of quad headlights in their US model 80? I am considering buying a set, but I want to be sure they will fit well before purchasing.

I’ve seen plenty of people do this.

Look up @ikarus build thread. He posted a detailed write up with part numbers less than a year ago.

Blackhillsbuilds on Instagram did this mod too on a US model 80. If you message him he’s been very helpful with questions.

We have done a few sets here in the shop, with Holley retrobrights. we should have a complete new setup in stock as well. Definitely some wiring recquired, I think @jcardona1 makes a harness for it

Yeah, I love mine. Little expensive though. But you can get some really good light output with Holley Retrobright 4x6 LEDs. For a US rig, get a custom harness from @jcardona1

Got mine from Jcardona and added the retrobrights…well please with the outcome and output…keep in mind you will need the specific corner lights and the relay harnesss to do the job right

I have the morimoto brightest lights I have ever seen, running double low and high. I used Jose harness as above, used my NA grill and you will need the side markers as well

Did you use the Holley Retrobrights from the start? Or swap them in?

They look good, but spendy! $175+ each. $700 for 4

I actually went with JTX out of Australia. Ended up at $470 USD shipped for 4 lights plus a wiring harness. Mine was a special case since it's JDM, my stock setup is 2x H4 and 2x H3c fog bulbs. The JTX wiring harness let me plug into just one stock H4 socket to get 4x H4 sockets on the harness, so now I have double low and double brights.

JTX 4x6s have been great but I don't necessarily recommend them to people in the US because technically they have a RHD beam pattern. I need to adjust them a little. I did some tests and I think I'm probably shining a little too much light into oncoming sedans or low cars. But I haven't been flashed yet - they're honestly about the same as some factory LED lights in US vehicles that I swear need to be redesigned. haha

They were a massive upgrade over stock. With my stock JDM setup I felt like I was driving by candlelight.

I never did try the stock quad lights though - pulled those out and installed JTX from day one.

Honestly, i wouldn't worry about this. So your best to adjust and then can it good.
The LED lights in so many new cars are horrendously bright and scattered, one like yours is barely gonna be noticed as unusual

Thanks for the shout-outs! And yeah I've been selling the headlight conversion harnesses for a little over a year now. Work for quads and Depos. And with quads, my harness gives you the option to run double low/double high. With Depos you get single low/double high. More details here:

And I also sell the quad brackets in small batches. Just sold my last 5 a few days ago.

Does anyone have the link to a us based seller for the corner lights? Paying 60 bucks shipping for a pair of 40 buck lights from Australia is ridiculous

The link I found shows $46 shipping.

Small parcel shipping out of Aus is stupidly expensive. I think the lowest cost option is something like $30AUD for a 500g satchel. $20USD/lb

More of the Holley Retrobright because it's looks just right on these trucks
