Discussions are currently ongoing....

But yes the body from an earlier FJ80 could easily go on a later FZJ80 chassis (probably with some slight modifications)...

But that's not the plan I am perculating in my head right now... (too many good ideas from people like Dan and Ash)

How's the body condition?

I happen to know of an 80 series frame that would make a great body and frame swap--60 body/80 frame-suspension-SFA-1FZ-FE-442 drivetrain.

why don't you get a-hold of two old corolla's, and put them trunk to trunk on the 80 frame. That way no one will tell whether you are coming or going.
