Puerco on Saturday - Change of meeting place

I'm going back out to the southern Puerco on Saturday for more exploration. Anyone is welcome. Might be your only chance to see someone wheel with an interlock. :o Takers?

I'll try with the faux-lux (the truck will do fine I'm sure, it's my schedule I'm not as sure about) I'll see if I can't drag Dad out in his 40 too. I get back somewhat late on Friday night, but I should be in like flynn.

Hey Greg -

Thanks for the offer - it sounds like fun. Glad to hear that you've got your 60 back on the road (or off the road in this case).

I am pretty sure I won't make it. A weld on the tailpipe broke loose at Moab and that needs to be repaired. Also, my Saturday is pretty well booked with plans for "defensible space" around the house. With this fire going in the Manzanos, it's pretty easy to see that the highest priority for us is to clear out more vegetation around the house.

Anyway - have a great time! If things change, I will let you know before Saturday.

Evan

P.S. I hope you can make it out to the meeting at our house next weekend. Some of us were talking about a club run to Canyon de Chelly (spelling?) sometime, and you're one who made it out on that original run a few years back. We'd like to hear from anyone that's made the trip - Ali was just out there last week as well.

Greg,

Well, once again I'm working this weekend. Some silly thing about a Bonzi show.

Greg,

You SOB, you are killing me! I just picked up my 80 this week and it is time to see some action that she was built for! I have a some work this weekend (trying to get out of it now). I should find out by the end of today if i get out of work for Saturday. Before I forget that mudders like pics here is one.

Nice 80 Rudy! Puerco would be a great place to remove those running boards. Another member of the 80 club - welcome!

Congrats Rudy...life just got much better in the 80!!!!

Yeah Rudy!!!

One question....Locked or Unlocked?

Nice 40th Anniversary Cruiser. That would make it a '97. No factory rack so that is very good! Antenna is broken but it seems like that is common on every used truck.

Give us some details Rudy.

What time would you guys be heading over the hill? I may be avail. Maybe I could remove my running boards as well.

x2 one the what the late start is? Like Evan said time to get the running boards off. I would rather take them off than beat them off. I believe I skip the extra work on Saturday.

Details Mike: I believe you have seen this 80, but nothing gets by you. She is a 40th, antenna is broke. 96k, garage kept, leather is in good shape, never off road. Orignal owner bought it with 27 miles from the dealer (that makes me the 3rd owner). Serviced at Karl Malone way more than enough.

Rory, you offering help to fix her up? Thought about your bumper and tire carrier, but wanted to make sure I had it first.

Grahm, to answer you one question, locked.

I was just teasing you about the running boards and damge multiplier. Tire carrier sold to a guy in Cali, but the bumper is still here!

And if you need some help with the truck let me know. Though it sounds like you made a very nice score.
