Completed except hooking up the AC shots. Mark VIII fan mounted in custom shroud as well. Intake had to be made and I figured that the MAF had to be in there somewhere so I made a small plate and mounted just the sensor into the home made intake.

Also remade the seat frame to better accommodate the new Mastercraft seats and to give me a mounting for a small sub/amp for the ipod. At the same time I needed a lockable compartment for stuff so a small Tuffy center console was incorporated. Painted to match as well.

What does the inside of the bed look like now since you removed the radiator?

Drawer system from AT and a aluminum top to trim and cover everything. Bed is about 8" deep now. LineX'd the Aluminum top after this shot was taken and added Macs push button tie down rails down each side.

Nice, as I expected.

You really amaze me.

PS the 502 62 went through the Con with us in June and it lost a rear mud flap. I thought it was gonna get wacked. It did an amazing job.

what all do you really carry in the bed? anything beside a cooler?

Thanks. I saw that it was for sale again. Sad day.

hasnt he only had that thing for like a year? guess i cant really say much tho longest i have ever kept a vehicle was 3 years and thats my wagon.

I carry my dog, a cooler/fridge and sometimes some camping gear. It all fits just fine.

The owner has had it 1.5 years now but realized that he is in over his head on maintenance and working on it. Great guy though.

How did you attach the Mark VIII to the custom shroud? I can't quite tell from the pic. I've got a Mark VIII that I've got lying around that I'd like to fit in my '62 if my current dual 11" SPALs in a custom shroud don't make the grade next summer. Anyway I can make a custom shroud but haven't decided how best/at what point to mate the sheetmetal to the Mark VIII.
