I had the privilege of running around with Gary and his rig for a while at Katemcy. Though we were lost for much of the time looking for the entrance to Waterfall, I was never worried as Gary employed a wonderful navigation technique to get us out- Ingeniously trailing a steady flow of gasoline and power steering fluid, we were able, if necessary, to illuminate an obvious path to the main trail, thereby linking up with those more familiar with the terrain and finding our way back to camp :flipoff2:

It was a great pleasure to meet Gary and see the truck again (Surf-n-turf was the last time) and definitely one of the highlights of the trip from California. I was really impressed with how stable and predictable the 80 series suspension is with such little weight up high. And as we've come to expect, the craftsmanship of the V8 swap is top notch.

Thats funny stuff. Yep we almost made it over to the waterfall. Did the next day after tightening a hose clamp and adding the quart of PS fluid that showed us the way back:) Might even be ready for Moab.

The drawers are pretty cool. Not sure on the price, but cool none the less.

What a nice rig:

Gary, how is your exhaust set up now with the 2UZ? What kind of muffler are you running? Did you balance the banks? Sounds great...

I now need to go clean my pants.... front and back... a thing of beauty, but better looking in person.
