inner rocker patch in place. I am really unhappy with the welds...maybe its the cold, the concrete floor, the awkward position...will never be seen...will be covered with bedliner...but I was not pleased with my welds on this..

What are we looking at in the last picture?

Looking up inside the rear wheel well, at the underside of where the back seat latch is. Thinking about replacing that piece with 1/8 plate steel. Maybe just a thicker gauge sheet metal...any thoughts?

Ok, so I went with a heavier steel for the backing plate. Used some leftover square steel tubing from when I built beds for the family.

Took longer to fabricate, but are substantially stronger/should last longer...

shut up and show us the pictures...

Had to work this morning, going to visit the In-Laws this afternoon.

But, I did finish up the drivers side rear seat latch mount thingy...

New piece cut and bent and trimmed and welded in on top of the new support.

Good job on all the patching. I'm so glad, that part is good on mine. What are your plans for finishing the floor. Inside and under side. Sound deadener or just paint, so many options.

Inside and underside will get bedliner. Probably DupliColor. I have had good luck with it in the past. IMHO, best bang for the buck. Thought about Lizard Skin or something, but the main goal with this project is to prevent future rust. With roll on, it even has the appearance of a factory style rubberized undercoating, but the durability of modern bedliners.

If this was an over the top street machine, I would probably bedline the underside, lizard skin the interior, then dynamat the interior.....but a pig really would not seem right, if it was that quiet, would it?

There seems to be a rough plan to try to get a Pig Party organized next time Elyse flies out to do some more filming. TJ is in(of course), Jim might come down(suggest world famous Bruce's Bar). Good opportunity for a Pig pictures. Could get your rig in a movie!
