Great drama for the movie, bad drama for my blood pressure. The details will be posted later down the road but it's a sensitive situation at the moment. Thank you God the pig is back with Jason safe and sound. Except for the front passenger door. A slight dent post primer. Most likely man-made and not accidental.

But they're not called iron pigs for nothing.

i know a very little bit of what's going on and it's probably best left off public forums for now. glad it's back and in one piece. a dent can be fixed. sucks that there's now a deal of having to deal with a whole new painter while still dealing with the old a-hole

True. And things could be worse. Things can always be worse.

I'm just relieved my pig is safe.

The Moviestar is scheduled to go off for final paint (no, really this time) on Wednesday. It is going to one of the top shops in the area, so the results should be as expected. I spent the morning preparing it and painting the engine bay.

Groundhog Day ended with the character played by Bill Murray much better and wiser for living through the same situation multiple times.

I can relate :)

So nice dealing with a real body shop. But the saga continues...

What did you use for the paint on headlight area and engine bay? Looks good nice finish.

Nice!! That's the color combo I want if I ever paint the moose in the next few years....

Congrats on getting the paint complete.

Holy crap the paint is finished that is definitely a surprise with all the trouble that you have been going through trying to get it painted I am definitely surprised.

Great to see! I bet your EXTREMELY relieved to finally have in painted and back in your hands!

There in not an emotion for totally relieved and utterly happy.
This paint experience was the complete opposite of the first _____ we went to.
And the car is back with Jason.

Totally relieved and utterly happy.

Looks great! Seems like a long time ago when I helped carry the newly blasted carcass with all the holes in it back into your garage while picking up the Frankencruiser. Can't wait to see it reassembled.
