Seriously, many thanks sir.

You're more than welcome, good to see it coming together. I've been called a lot of things, but never a noblemen! I await on Jason's decision and address. :)

Jason/Elyse,

If you guys want, I have a couple spares. One is stock color, but has small cracks around the square hole. The bottom one has been painted, but far better shape. Pick one and I'll send it out. Free to the cause.

Awesome offer! I do believe we shall take the painted one. The others are so discolored, I was going to have to paint them anyway. PM the address.

Thanks!

Worked on some random stuff yesterday and today. (also went and picked up the motor for another project at the machine shop) Vent window rubbers are installed, but I seem to have misplaced the upper pivot on the drivers side...hope that turns up. Not 100% pleased with the vent window rubber, even closed and installed on the passenger door, there is a gap.

lens polishing. the lower one has been polished, the upper not. probably worth doing.

Making seals for the tranny tunnel cover.

And sound/heat proofing the floor.

A little before/after cleaning on the floor mats. The front is going to need some repair work, i'm thinking shoe goo and metal backed tape on the underside.

And passenger side kick panel can be saved, but the drivers side is awful. Might be making a new one...along with the rear cargo panels....which i don't want to do....but after all this, can't just put s*** back in...

Hey Jason,
I gave up on polishing the reflectors and found some great ones locally - see my thread. I may even have an extra set that you/Elyse would be welcome to.
Take a look at the interior panels I put in my Pig as well - so much nicer than the ratty stuff I pulled out. Includes kick panels and cargo panels. Way nicer than I could have made, but you probably have more skills than I do!

Pretty sure I have these still in my garage - yours if you want them! POTM - March, 2014 - Javelina By Pablo Cruise

missing upper pivot

I may have an extra pivot arm. I have set of early doors with vent window I will check in the morning if you would like?

What side pivot arm are you missing?

Elyse won't believe the difference the sound/heat proofing will make. Did the entire floor on mine (with Quiet Cr*p) as well as all doors and the cargo sides. Normal pad type insulation was glued to the roof above the new headliner. Upholstery shop that installed it said the stick on stuff might fail in the heat.

I don't think we are planning to do the rear cargo area, but doors will get some, and I might do a glue on for the ceiling. I've heard the same thing about stick on falling.
