Hello,

Today I installed the tires and the lift kit and I am extremely pleased with the ride comfort. I previously read that the ProComps are harsh and have a bad ride but was I astonished that they ride terrifically and more comfortable than stock by a huge margin.

The truck is much more liveable right now and very pleased with the setup

Here are some pictures,

Nice stance - looks sharp.

Thank you guys, will take better pictures tomorrow via DSLR camera.

Nice looking 40 and wheel and tire combo! Report back after the suspension settles.

I am away for the week for a vacation, this is some photos of the truck before I hit the road earlier toady

Any aftermarket shackles do you recommend ?

What are the shackle lengths for the front and rear? Do the springs have the plastic clips on the tips? Any spring slap? Seems like the rearend has more lift than the front? Is that just the picture? Also, where did you get the 16"rims with the clips? Or did you make them... Great looking truck!!

1982 FJ40.

OEM Shackles and everything is the Procomp 2.5 inch lift kit.

U-bolts, Leaf Springs and Shock Absorbers.

The wheels are OEM toyota 16" for Middle East Spec models.

I have driven the truck less than .100 miles and all is good. Drives wonderfully and a huge improvement over stock.

Optical illusion In real life the stance is perfect and the height will settle once i rack up the miles.

I have driven it less than .100 miles since the install

These are non split rims, correct? If so, someone needs to import some of those 16" wheels to the US. Tire selection for 15" rims is getting slimmer all the time and I bet the stock look would sell well. I'd be interested in a set once my tires wear out. Any idea what the rim width is?

I believe they are 7.5 inch wide I am not sure to be honest.
