So the gentleman I sold my 80 to didn't like the PRP seats I had and asked if we could do something else, I had sat in some Procars in some 60 series and suggested them. He said go for so I ordered up some Elite series seat and brackets! Part numbers SCA-80-1100-52L (drivers seat) SCA-80-1100-52R (Passanger) SCA-81988 & SCA-81989 for the brackets. The seats are grey vinyl and I ordered them from Summit with only $19 in shipping for a total of $834.88 shipped to my door. I ordered the seats Monday and they arrived at my door on Friday even though Summit said they would not ship until 10/15 (2 weeks). The seats are great and the adjustability in them in leaps and bounds above the stock seats. It took all of about an hour to install them. Now, the seats do not come with seat belt latches as the stock seats have them built in to the seat. I walked around the salvage yard and found some latches out of a extended cab Nissan pickup that fit the latches perfectly and have a cable that I bolted to the inside rear seat bolt. This is a great option for the crap stock seats the Mr. T so greatly messed up on.

Are there specific brackets for the Fj60.

guess that's an 80 series but I would ask ( and going to check on their web ) if they have for 60 series ..

Those seats look great. Nice big boulsters. That's a pretty penny for some universal seats though. I used to buy full sets (front and rear) of BMW M3 vaders seats for like $1k and those seats where the best EVER. Full power, memory, and heat.

They look awesome! I think its a much better deal to get two totally new seats rather than replace leather and foam that's more expensive. Does the color match the factory tan interior for a 97?

I had these in my 55 they were nice enough but not the quality of the 80's seats.

dunno if you can compare, but imagine you have set of factory Neon or Isuzu Trooper seats to pic against those Procar seats .. would you ?

Yeah you're right very hard to compare. I don't think I have ever been in a neon or a trooper. The seats were a definite upgrade to the 55 bench seats but I kind of like the 80's seats and don't think these are an upgrade, but everyone's butt is different. Lol

 I know .. I know .. my intention was make your mind ( or mine :sure: ) about those Procar vs any other factory seat .. corolla, carmy etc ..

I had MR2 seats in the 55 for a while, I liked the Procar, better than those. Does that help? Haha!

actually does .. I was just about to see a set this weekend ..

My factory 80 seats were terrible, but like you say everyone's cheeks are a little different. I chose to spend the extra money because these were a direct bolt in and I didn't have the time to fab up custom brackets before the gentleman that bought it came to pick it up.

If you still have it there can you give me a measurement between the Pro car seat mounting points (width).
