I've made a lot of posts asking about 100 series LXs... Sorry.

I've come across one that I want to know what is a good price for it?
It is a 2007 Lexus LX470 with 62k miles. White exterior. Interior is in really good condition. It is asking 27k USD.
I did not look under the car as it was raining hard, but I would assume it is clean and rust-free/little rust. Obviously I will inspect it if I decide to pursue the car.
Car report shows no accidents.

What is a good price for this vehicle?

Maybe little rust would have described it better. I wished it wasn't pouring so I could have looked.
From talking to the guy it seems like the car is really well maintained. Not a spec of dent/scratch/chip on the exterior - it seems like the car was babied. Also, in AB they do not used as much salt as the east coast does. Compared to all the 100 series I looked at, this one was the best condition, better than some 200 series I looked at.

Seems at the top of the scale - at least for East Canada. On the other hand, if you can meet the owners and get a good feel for how they maintained and treated the vehicle, that is very important too. I've been looking at some vehicles lately and the novelty of talking to these sales guys wears of really quick. Take an afternoon off, spend $100 in gas and toll to go look at an 'immaculate vehicle' only to find out it has no coolant in the radiator and tar-like oil in the engine....

A local GTA Lexus dealer just sold a really clean 2008 LX570 with 80k-km for around CAD$38k. (50k-miles/US$28.6k). I think they had it listed for a day. I would expect the price to be lower for a private sale.

Another data-point: We paid CAD$36k for a 5-year old pristine LX470 with 80k-km in 2005. (50k-miles/US$27k). Vehicle was still under warranty, current model at the time and gas was half what it costs now. Seems that this is now the price for vehicles twice that old.

Sounds a bit high to me. But it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. $25k cash should do the trick - assuming min/no rust.

With miles that low, you are essentially buying as close to a brand new 100 as you are likely to find. If you look at it like that, it really just comes down to how bad you want that. That said, there are plenty of 150-200k mile cruisers in the 10-15k range (albeit it gets old sorting through rustbuckets, etc.). Personally, I paid 11.5 for my good condition 03 with 190k miles almost 2 years ago. It took me a good 3 months of looking to find it. It's at 230k now, and I've had to do brakes and a CV. Runs like a top. I can't see paying 2.5 times what I paid for essentially the same vehicle. Especially when you can get a 200 in the mid 20s.

Hell, you can get a barely used 2017 Nissan Armada (Patrol) for under 30k if you aren't looking to do mods. I watched a youtube video out of Australia where they compared one to a 200 on and offroad, and they preferred the Nissan. One of those is very likely to be my next vehicle. It doesn't have the locking rear diff or various electronic offroad modes that the Australian Patrol gets, but as far as I can tell, it is otherwise identical.

Even though there are some low mile 100 series left, all the seals, rubber, gaskets, bushings etc are still 11-19 years old and will need replacing. I don’t think it’s worth paying the premium for low miles IMO.

I am in Calgary as well. Last month I bought a 2006 Land Cruiser with 101,000 miles from my neighbor for $15,000 Canadian. I had left my business card under the wiper 2 or 3 months ago when I started looking for a Land Cruiser. After we settled on $15,000 He said the dealer in Calgary offered him $14,000. Guess I got lucky to be the first buyer he contacted after the dealer gave him the lowball offer.
Is the LX at a dealer? If it is I expect they paid under $20,000 on a trade in based on the offer my neighbor got for his 2006 LC.

Low mileage on these vehicles are over rated. They last forever so I’d get one that has more miles and less rust if any, And good maintenance record. If I were to shop for a hundy now I’d get one with 150K on it for around 15K or so in good condition.

I own an 06 w/ 160k KMs.
I did a full baseline on it after purchase -

All fluids (oil/diffs/trans/coolant/ahc/brakes)
TB Kit
CV Boots
Full exterior power polish, Ceramic coating, Xpel bumpers/fenders/a-pillars/roof
Rear brake kit
BFG KO2 275/70/18 x5
Wouldn’t let it go for less than $22.5k CDN. I paid $20.5k in 2016 w/ 140k KMs. These are such solid vehicles, my only gripe is getting 550km to a 90L tank :(

I guess that is to be expected with the bigger tires and rooftop tent.

I paid about 11K USD for a blinged up 2001 LX470 with 38K miles showing on the clock--an import from Japan to the UAE. The dealer stuck on carpet protectors were still on the driver side and in the back. I forgot to take a photo of the drivers side floor before I took off the plastic sheet, but the back still has it on there. I put another 2.5K into basic repairs and the truck still has a few issues, but I'm quite happy with the purchase so far.

I found a '07 for $13k yesterday on oaklahoma city craigslist. Looks clean enough, and it had 44 service records detailed in the listing. Kinda intrigued

I just bought this 2007 LX470 for $12,500. Has 203k miles (now 204k I guess). Maintained at Lexus dealer and the service list is crazy long. At 183k it had timing belt, water pump, front wheel bearings repacked, new brakes all 4 corners, and lot of other stuff since then. Last service record was at 203k miles included detailing. I don't think I could have found a better 100 series for the price, I was looking all over the country for about a month and got this one in CA 1200 miles from home.

I would caution against assuming ANYTHING oh one of these rigs. I saw multiple rigs over 4-months and even tho cars do not rust here in the Pacific Northwest, most of the vehicles I saw were rusted out or had hidden patch panels underneath, etc. Why? Because they are worth so much in this market that dealers buy them from the East Coast (salt, floods, etc.) and mark them up to what a rust-free vehicle here would be at the same mileage. In short, virtually all used car dealer LC/LX are overpriced and I had to go private seller.

Also, coming from the classic car world, low miles is actually frowned upon by many including myself, what I want to see is "low miles for its age" which to me is 150,000 miles +/- as 60,000 miles could indicate it sat for a couple of years or just isn't driven enough to keep all the oily bits lubricated. If it has been continuously registered and driven with records to back it up then yes it probably is a good buy, especially if that amount is in CAD now USD. Have it inspected, and avoid one that has the entire underside painted in POR or other rust preventative because it may just be a cover-up for damage and rust, especially if it's bubbly and rough looking instead of smooth.

Not to scare you off from this one but to caution you to keep an open and objective mind.
