Got the @Outsane Whiteline rear sway bar brackets installed...love these! They put a nice slide angle from the rear lower link mounts off of the rear of the axle so it doesn't bash the sway bar mounts. Also installed (but not shown) Window Rocket module which dramatically speeds up the windows on all 4 doors and sunroof. Looking forward to Good Evening Ranch later this week!

LOL, was my regular wake up, not by choice…found some tasty gummy treats to help that, but ran out of the CBD ones last night…o_O

Man, I'd kill for some space like that! 🦀 :wrench:👍

What's the foot print? Wall height? Door height?
30x60x14 to the doors. The5x12 roof pitch to get the snow off makes the peak go up another 3ft. The 3 doors are 10x10 because all the work vans and thier ladder racks make it nesecarry.
The big door at the back side is 12x12 for tractors and big equipment
Pad is 10" reinforced 4500 PSI concrete. I was very happy with the company we used out of NC and they were significantly cheaper and quicker than anyone else.

What are the logistics for having a crew come up from NC to build it? Or was it a NC company that uses a local crew?

We used Trinity buildings out of NC. The crew was also out of NC and they stayed at a local hotel while they worked. They had an amazing work ethic and were onsite at 0700 everyday and worked until after the sun went down using headlamps and area lights. We prepared them a lunch every day and they were appreciative of the wife's smash burgers and next day was grilled chicken and roasted vegetables.
I would highly recommend them in the future.

That is a hell of a good recommendation.... and also the right way to treat works on the job! Reminds me of my folks... mom would always come out with cold drinks to guys working in the neighborhood even if it wasn't at our place.

The Quadrasteer Suburban got some new upper control arms and a wash. The ball joints on the old control arms were so floppy. The smoothness in the ride is night and day.

Those trucks ride soooooo nice. We had a 93 and 97 1500 suburban and still have our 2011. The 2011 has a new engine and freshly rebuilt auto trans ( highly recommend trans auto dynamics in culpeper) and it still cruises amazingly nice. Enjoy that one.

I have worked my entire life doing work that almost everybody needs but nobody wants to do so I appreciate the guy who actually has to sweat and bleed to get work done. A meal set before you is a small price to pay to say thank you.

The "goes the extra mile" certainly works both ways. Showing your appreciation for the work being done always gives them extra energy.

Sounds like you guys need to give Mike Rowe a call! :hmm::idea:

I discovered that my fan shroud could be moved (just enough, hopefully) a bit , and I was able to get my drill in there enough to make new bolt holes without having to remove the fan clutch too, so i may just have solved the issue that’s been plaguing me for years, the squeal/groany noise of the fan blades hitting the shroud sometimes under heavy load.
Had to remove the tire to get up at the radiator area and noticed how atrocious the brakes and hub looked even after pressure washing. Glad i found out they looked like that.

Nice to find a solution to a long-term issue! And good job on the brake cleanup...even with minimal mud compared to most trips, that Sh%t still gets into everything!
