Knocked some items off my to do list over the last week and added some new items .

The biggest win of the day was coating the ARB bumpers in fluid film and sticking on the ARB decals that I just received as a courtesy from the ARB USA customer service tech team. The bumpers look much better now. Really brightened them up and I've wanted legit ARB bumpers with the little ARB decals for about 15 years- I'm starting to get pretty stoked about these bumpers. :)

Completed Items:

✓- Replace missing ARB bumper decals (ARB sent as a courtesy)
✓- Cubby storage box for cooler console (ordered)
✓- Coated both ARB bumpers in Fluid film (made a huge difference- brought the shine back)
✓- Replace worn shift knob (Ordered and en route from UAE)
✓- Factory floor mats (Ordered and installed)
✓- Cargo area OEM mat (Ordered and en route from stateside Yota dealer)
✓- Installed Midland GMRS radio and ghost antenna
✓- Installed front license plate onto bumper

Immediate to do list:
- Remove side steps
- OEM wiper blades
- 275/70r18 BFG KO2 Tires
- Install 2" Old Man Emu lift (Ordered and en route from Cruiser Outfitters)
- Adjust parking brake
- Order new ARB Deluxe front bumper rubber guard "Buffers" Part # 3163018R & 3163018L
- Order new ARB Deluxe front bumper fog light surrounds Part # 3163015
- Replace missing center headrest for third row (not in the seat storage pouch)
- Remove aftermarket window tint

To do soon list:
- New OEM headlights
- Replace key fob body for both keys (OEM)
- 12k Winch
- Skids
- Sliders

Does it tend to happen after raining? If so it's worth checking the sunroof drains to make sure they aren't clogged or windshield isn't leaking.
Question for all you 100 LC series guys....

We have a friend with a 100 series who is having issues with his alarm randomly going off. Our local dealer has worked on it, said they fixed it but then the problem came back. Apparently he's not happy with the dealer and is hesitant to take it back.

Does anyone know if there are any common issues with the alarm system, maybe one of the sensors?

I'll do some research when I get a chance but thought I would start here.

Thx!

Some glamour shots at a historic mansion down the block (nobody lives there)... The fluid film really saved these bumpers- even the rubber guards came back to life. Truck looks 1000% times better. Still has a dent in the front bumper, but doesn't really bother me. I'll pull those side steps off later this week.

Wow those really do look a lot better now!

The ball joints were shot on the UCAs on the 8.1 Suburban so I replaced them with some Moog jobbers. I decided to go ahead and replace the shocks, rotors and pads while I was in there. These damn Autoride shocks were spendy.

I finally got the 40s fuel lines all placed and pulled it out of the garage and moved in the M416. I have a build thread going in the Trailer sub but figured I'd post a couple pics on here too.

Dang... how did I miss that you did an H55F swap?! Those wheel look great on your truck.

Just realized, as of yesterday it was 5 years of ownership to the day. Here are some pics from picking it up in Richmond and then some from the swap.

I still have the original wheels but they’re not as nice as they look in the pics. I’d probably powder coat them gray if I go back to them.

@OTRAMM did the swap last spring/summer.

After 5 years of tinkering it’s pretty much exactly how I want it. Occasionally I contemplate front or rear bumpers w/ a swing out. Still needs a few little things that I’d like to do(add-a-leafs for the rear and mostly cosmetic rubber bits/etc) and I have sound deadening and a new carpet to put in.

I’d love to find NOS or like new headlight surrounds/grill but what has come up has been over a grand. Can’t justify that. Maybe I’ll just go aftermarket.

I got the brake lines redone on the M416 and painted the wheels last night. Rolled her out of the garage this morning. Just in time to set the garage up for honey extracting. I'll pull supers today and extract tomorrow.

Harvest 2022 done! I'll wait a couple weeks to let all the fine bubbles rise to the top, skim them off and bottle it up. I ended up with 3 5 gallon buckets, mostly full, about 150 pounds total.

Tried using the winch on the 200 to pull this little stump out and it was pulling the 200 closer

If it makes you feel any better I think your original rims are the ones on my 40

My EGR is on the fritz for the 3rd time since owning (CEL + rough idle) ... I've ordered and going to do the huddexpo egr delete kit, you know, just for testing. more to follow.
