I spoke to a lawyer Monday and said the issue is not suing them it’s getting a company that is registered in California to actually pay a judgement is slim. Said the best recourse was to send it to their insurance company and see if they would cover it.
I think that is entirely bull—-t to have to do that. They need to own it and make it right.
In all honesty I would of let it all ride if they had stepped up and taken positive responsibility and communicated but the no call returns no emails returned and the “it is all in the spam folder” response deflecting any blame away from them at all costs infuriates me.
In this day and age blasting them on all the social medias might actually do something for you

Until today I never spoke about it anywhere other than the club forum. I did post it this evening and the pics in the Orion thread on the 40 forum if for no other reason I can steer a person away from making the same stupid choice I did.
I still have to say if they literally had opened the box and looked at the case they would of seen the problem(s) especially on the 2nd one. But apparently they just get them from whatever foundry makes them and just ship them out.

Unfortunately, actually getting paid for a judgment is pretty slim in any case. You think the legal system works, the judge says "you win," and that's that. Do a search for "judgment recovery" and you'll see the truth of it. The time and costs to take an issue before a judge is only the very first step...

So I started working on the 40 I’ve have a brake fluid leak on the passenger side.
I can’t figure out where it’s coming from I didn’t figure out the front cylinder is frozen up. But I can make it leak fluid.
Should I just replace the cylinder or both or how can I find the leak?

Yes you are already in there replace both.

Just ordered a replacement MFD. I've been through a ton of fuses, and everything appears to be 100%, so now I'll try replacing the whole thing.

I picked up my DOM driveshafts today. After finding the twisted one I did not want to take a chance. 2.75. .120 tube.

Who did those for you? I've been trying to find someone who'd use Toyota yokes and slip joints like that.

Not as involved or needed as some of the stuff everyone else is doing but....

Needed a better phone mount that didn't drop my phone when on the trails... or the wilds of the Maryland streets! It is very stable and its made by Panvise so the head can be changed out for other styles of mounts

... and for safety sake... a nice mount for the fire extinguisher on the front passenger seat. Mount is nice and stable too. Fit and finish is spot on. I might take the time and trim the plastic covers to give it a more finished OEM look at some point.

replaced the interior OEM bulbs from with LEDs from Amazon to give it an updated look and save a few watts of juice when the doors are left open.

Also got rid of the crappy elastic webbing on the back door... got a good deal on a Rago Cargo Cage. Installation was a breeze and it fit perfectly. Super strong and actually works unlike the OEM one.

Johnny has build building shafts for me for over 25 years. He worked at Standard Parts in Richmond forever before starting a company with his son.

Great to know.

Is that the place that has an old FJ55 sitting in the parking lot for years?

It is a little further East. That old 55 has a v-8 swap and is rusting away. I am not sure why the owner would/will never sell it???? I think it is a late 70's? It has been years since i last looked at it.
