How about welding on galvanized steel? I can't imagine that is good.
From what I’ve heard AA customer suport is “Out To Lunch”. With there quality control. So what has AA got to say about their quality control? Are they going to make this right?
2nd case is a total FAIL as well. Worse than the first case. Put acetone in it and it leaked through the casing flaws and cracks in 30 seconds.
Thats unreal. I built mine a few months ago and never thought to look at the casting like that. I dont have any leaks right now. I had some machining issues on mine with the toybox and AA was great to deal with. They had never ran into the issue I had. Luckly I have access to a mill to fix it.
They ( Matthew) says he was going to go to the shop and inspect a case and send it out.Since then I have heard nothing. Nothing if they have one that is in good condition. If they are shipping it if they are paying for it....nothing.So what has AA got to say about their quality control? Are they going to make this right?

At this point I wouldn't recommend them or their parts for anything.
Seriously considering just pulling my input and outputs and just installing them back in the stock case. I don't care what the performance gains are at this point if it doesn't work at all its not doing me any good.
I plan on making the payment to Ryan no matter what for his labor but I have little to no hope at all that they will cover ANY of that bill.
I spoke to a lawyer Monday and said the issue is not suing them it’s getting a company that is registered in California to actually pay a judgement is slim. Said the best recourse was to send it to their insurance company and see if they would cover it.That's pretty pathetic. They make a good product but the quality and customer service are apparently not important anymore. Is Small Claims Court a possible avenue for reimbursement?
That would be fantastic.Bart/Chris I can look tomorrow at work if we have any in the scrap area they just did a bunch of racking work might have some scrap pieces if you haven’t ordered anything yet
I'll have to find the thread about @fj40z 's WIX filter grenading a newly rebuilt engine and the responses that they made. It'll sadden you....deflecting any blame away from them at all costs infuriates me.

Side note: Never use a WIX filter again. Or a Napa Gold (rebadged WIX).
