I also have a PS pump to send for measuring. Would like to get it back, along with a couple of bushings as 'payment' for mailing it.

I vote that there is definitely a need for a replacement front bushing. With rebuilt pumps going for $... Oh, they are no longer available from Rockauto. Well, that leaves new $400 replacement pump from dealer as only option for new bushing? So a $xx bushing and $40 rebuild kit that is considerably less than $400 is a good deal. Make it happen.... please.

As has said Saginaw is the way to go. If you get the mounting bracket from a late 70's-early 80's Chevy truck and slice the bottom of it off, then slice the top of the factory 2f bracket off, weld it up and it is good. Depending on the pulley you may need to drill out yours for the larger Saginaw shaft. The Toyota lines bolt up. Best mod I've done, one finger steering with 37 boggers.

Kodet, are you suggesting welding the mild steel GM bracket to the cast iron Toyota bracket?
I don't think mine was cast iron, maybe cast steel. I had no issues welding it and it has held up great.

Does anyone have any new ideas on sources for those PS pump bushings?
