Anyone with some advice out there? Fj60 power steering is working but pulley is wobbling. Took it off to see key is worn and shaft slot looking like it’s been used for 40 years. Since pump is working, wondering what can be done/simple solution

looking at the inner threads on the shaft, guessing the nut was loose?

if the pump isn't leaking
maybe try a "new" pulley and woodruff key
maybe some JB weld to fill some of the gap in the shaft slot
might need to add another washer and tighten the nut well

Buy a new pump while you still can.

Tried and failed. Onto new pump
