Looking at powder coating rear heater for my 74 fj40 and was wondering what powder coating color is closer to stock color. Also would painting be an better opinion? Thanks

I had mine powdercoated with Prismatic's Galaxy Gray III which you've probably already seen in other powdercoat threads on here. It looks good, but to be honest the last guy spray painted my dash cluster, glovebox and fuel line covers, so I don't have anything of decent stock color to compare it against. It needs dusting off but you get the idea. Also looks like the kids have already scratched the top after repeated warnings not to step on it...

I saw an old thread the other day. No idea if it’s a good match.

Here is the thread: Silver-Pewter powder coating.

I’ve posted some picture’s of 2K epoxy I had mixed in Spraymax rattle cans. I gave them the T145 code.
