it's a texas truck... I actually got it with 305k and i put a salvage yard 138k engine in it... the only reason it needed the engine was the radiator had split and it ran hot... the internals of the blown engine showed very little wear and had the radiator not split I'm sure it would still be going fine on that engine... this is the second engine i have installed in 100 series for the exact same reason... everything is original as far as i know to the truck... it had new leather in it when I got it... as far as i know it's never been off road... I also replaced the shocks (it had the originals on it) and i adjusted the torsion bars and aligned it... and replaced the bushings /mounts for the rack & pinion... added craigslist 18" tires and rims and a ebay $125 touchscreen/nav unit... minor touch up/paint and 20 hrs of detailing removed the running boards blacked out the trim & bumpers (black truck) added HID head lights & led everywhere else and she purrs along... purchased as a take the dogs to the lake truck... and it has turned into my daily driver and we have taken it over my wives lx470 100% of the time... the sunroof doesn't work... and it has more of a CLUNK than i'd like putting it into drive... but for as little as I have in it... (less than 3k) it's my go to truck everyday...Post some info on your maintance and needed repairs that got you to this mileage. Also what environment as your cruiser lived? Rust belt dry south?
That's even impressive in miles!!!! (430k for you lazy guys)

My wife wrecked my 3rd Gen 4runner on 35s last week so I immediately started looking for a new toy and came across this.
I saw factory rear locker switch and was sold.
They took $3,500 less than KBB clean retail and I'm keeping my 4runner

If you can find out more details on this 500K mile truck, I think everyone on this thread would like to hear about it (maintenance; what all has been replaced on it - if anything; region of the country (rust?); etc.) That's an impressive testament to durability if it's mostly original! On the other hand, it's not really that noteworthy if major components have been replaced (like the engine, for example) Let's face it, if a vehicle is not rusty, you can keep ANY brand/model on the road if you're willing to throw enough money at it.......View attachment 1179155 I hit 106k today in my 2006.
A friend in my community just hit 500k in a '99!
