lowenbrau, where are all the pics of your rigs & trailers

I tried to transfer the pictures from the Coastal Cruisers 2007 get-together, with no success. (perhaps someone with more computer savy could do it). Mine is the 1977, dune beige with the cummins. I hadn't written on this board in quite a while so thought I would catch up. Presently in the middle of restoring my barn find '75 that I picked up this summer. Otherwise the '45 is doing time in the garage waiting for some warmer weather.

Does it count it the truck was originally from Canada?
This one wants to go back home. 1977 For Sale/Trade
I've spent quite a bit of time in Calgary and Edmonton trying to best your snooker players. Tough job to say the least. Also bought a 82' BJ42 while I was there in 2000.

TMACK - wow... thats one super clean 45.. holy shizz

Enigma has a S African spec 45 in the lower mainland.

There's plenty in Canada

Well since you mentioned me, I could probably dig up a pic or 2.

1982 fj45, South Africa spec as Bruce mentioned (essentially the same as all 45's, just no rear full floater, and weird boxes). 2f gasser but running on pure propane, 3.73 axles, 4 speed tranny (the lower one..h41?) Front brakes have been changed to 60 series discs.

Pics are a)Trail cleanup I organized up at Eagle Ridge, b)the missus, pre marriage, posing topless c)Club run to Whipsaw circa 2000.

The truck is currently waiting patiently in the carport for attention, as I bought my original fj40 back, and then an 80 series. Too many toys, no money, and not enough time.....sigh.

Samuridave - I think I saw you on Macleod Tr a couple of months ago. Nice 45 .

Yep, probably was me. I enjoy cruising around town on the weekends and usually take it to the Shell car was on Macleod near Chinook. Looking forward to taking her off road if spring/summer ever gets here. Thanks!

Here is mine, got it from a guy who has two others, this was his brother in laws, that was stored here for several years. Can't wait to build a shop so I can start working on it. I'm in Fort St. John, BC

I know its not really what you're looking for but a cool story none the less about Wilma. I drove from CT into Canada near Niagara Falls with an empty trailer to buy a 1964 FJ45 sight unseen. I thought I was going to buy an FJ45 LPB. It actually turned out to be an FJ45LV. I almost passed on it but after some haggling, bought it. The LV had Oregon plates on it though. This guy imported it from the US into Canada and then I imported it from Canada to the US. So technically for a while Wilma was a Canadian FJ45 :)
