Did a frame swap recently. Out goes my Cannondale Jekyll, in with a Canfield Balance!

Looks good! The Canfield Nimble 9 is one of my favorites.

Canfield build THE best bikes. This thing is far and above the most incredible machine I’ve ever ridden.

Getting into it. My drum teacher rides so I thought I would tag along.

Last Sunday I picked up a new Trek Verve 2. Having fun with it so far ....

Hey all. I kept forgetting to post on this thread! My rides are below.

My previous go-fast. Trek Madone 9.9, Dura-Ace Di2. Super fun, ridiculously fast. Sold it.

My daily driver. I live max 4 miles away from anything we need (Publix, kids' Pre-K, work, parks/playgrounds etc.) and I'm on my Trek 920 almost every day. It's stock with SRAM GX right now, but I've got new carbon bars and Venture 50mm tires going on soon. I really like the Ortlieb panniers. Also going to score a pair of the Bontrager Pro 3v carbon gravel wheels.

My new go-fast. Madone SLR SRAM Red AXS. Since I started racing in back grad school (15yrs ago and too many bikes to count) this is by far the slickest ride I've ever had. Switching to GP5000 tubeless. I've had tubeless systems for years and it's awesome.

The 26" wheel ride was free on the side of the road. It is a cheap, department store, aluminum frame under a popular Rustoleum color. I added a 152mm crank because I hate striking a pedal on the parts of the trail that get technical, plus I like how the limited movement keeps me on the saddle and bar ends better. The RockShocks, stem, and narrower bars didn't come with it either.

I just got the BOB trailer. Now I can carry camping gear, cameras, and a fair amount of supplies. I also brought home compost and a plant, and on a different trip, jack stands, and a 12T hydraulic jack - just to see if I could.

My other ride is a built version of another sidewalk-give-away. This Murray "Eliminator" is my daily commuter for the last year; the pic was taken before I made the ride sweet.

Greetings fellow pedal pushers! Here's my main 3 rides. Got the commuter/ rando Surly Straggler 650b workhorse. I've ridden this bike across a few states, over a lot of mountains and back. It's basically a cruiser, it's slow, heavy, but just won't die.

Next is my Surly Ogre 27.5+ full rigid bikepacking rig. Its got an Onyx rear hub and SP-8 Dynamo front.

And lastly is my Ritchey Timberwolf 27.5. Hardtail. Just picked this up to get into mountain biking and I'll have to say, I'm hooked. It climbs really well and descends pretty damn well for lacking rear suspension.

If anyone in the Seattle area wants to go for a ride, hit me up. I'm always down to do some kind of riding.
