Older SUA pics - clean shot on 37 MTRs, then with siped 38.5 TSL SX's - using removable fiberglass front fenders, No slip in rear, ARB front, sagging 4" soft ride springs and 2" over stock shackles, fuel injected with DUI, SM420 with stock case and 4:10's, u-bolt flip kits, double beadlocks. Older shot of middle line on Slick Rock. Kind of missing it being like that...

My BJ74 on 33" BFG muds.
Shackle reversal, removal of leaves f+r and extended shackles at rear.
Open diffs, installing a lockright at rear in near future.
Roll cage,rock sliders, intercooled, straight through xhaust ending infront of rear tyre.

Shackle convertion, std mounting pionts used and diff moved fwd.

I've never had what I would call a hardcore rig, so those pics are as good as I can do. It was a fun truck and I miss it.

will not run with 31s, got a set of 40x16/17 LTBs lying around that is going on my truck

And YES, they are volvo portal axles!

Not too hardcore, but working on it. Won't be SUA for long, though. I have a set of 60 series springs for the rear and a set of 55 series springs for the front ready to go on top of the axles.

74UA FJ, it looks quit neat on the sua with the beatlocks and 35", why change it ? Suppose you guys do a lot more hardcore wheeling that should be done ?

ome, lock wrong in rear,33x12.5's other than that pretty much stock but it does the job.

Much better ride, better flex, easier wheeling, and a little bit longer wheelbase.

I like it more standard & stock then overly modified, mine is my daily driver, weekend wheeler and the odd competition entry. This middies is a very scarces thing in ZA, thus I like to keep it a classic.
