Hey mate, can you tell me more about this shackle reversal?
Close up pics of the front mount would be good :)

And where did you get the rear bent shackle?

Hi Gib, all has been custom made by a friend off mine ( in his CV joint shop). I'll take a closer pic of the front "tower" and paste it here, thinking of taking them off to be powdercoated. Keep an eye on this post in the next week.

The whole idea came after xtending the shackles to clear my 33's. That ment that my approach angle was adversely affected and I would hit the f/shackles on step-up obsticales ( seeing that I removed the original PTO bumper and mounted a custom bumper to increase app. angle).

The tower idea happenned cause I told the friend that there must be no welding on the chassis, and it should be a bolt on kit ! All that followed was his idea.......... I liked it alot, xcept for the DW ( death wobble) that followed. All sorted now.........

That's TippyR Peter Straub's (Behemoth60) rig

Diesel, air bagged with portals. Definately interesting to say the least.

2.5" sua front stock rears soa.

Nice. Every once in a while I think of going that route instead of a full SOA... I have a very nice set of long custom springs that I ran in the rear for a while that I've been eyeing up for the front if I do it.

How do you like that setup?

Thanks more pics would be great. How did you solve your death wobbles? Would i be right in presuming you have some caster problems?

I like the idea of a shackle reversal too. Especially since i have longer shackles AND longer springs in the front now... the approach is pretty shocking!
