4.5 liter intercooled turbo diesel V8 fed by dual 90 liter fuel tanks. Impossible to improve upon.
90 litre & 160 litre tanks
Well then, you improved it. :)

For those in the US that don't care to convert, that is a total onboard fuel capacity of 66 gallons.

So, that amounts to a range somewhere around 1,200 miles.

Are dual fuel tanks with 90 liter and 160 liter capacity an option? LRA aftermarket tank?

On single cab pickups and 2 door troopys base equipment is one 90 liter tank a second 90 liter tank is a factory-installed option. on 76s and Dual cabs there is a single 130 liter tank only.

On the troopy, Long Ranger offer a 180 L replacement for the rear tank giving a total 270 L (71 Gallons?). There was an option in the past for a tank with a fuel/water combo but I can't find that available any more.

In real world driving that gives me a safe range of around 1600 km, so 1000 miles? Would probably get more with original tyres and less weight.

Have a nice little 54L water tank just in front of the rear diff too.

almost finished the build, took a little roadtrip through Holland last week. If people are interested I will post more pics through my instagram: @norush.nl
