Good luck to you, brother - moving is a MoFo. I told Mel - if we EVER get water again, even if it's from the mf'n dishwasher, we're moving to an arid state b/c I'd rather die by fire than go thru another flood =)

A/C is NICE and CHILLY now... Only 82F in the shop, but 35F out of the vents is good enough for me!

NO R134a for Poppy! Which makes it an even better day in my book.

I've been using Freeze 12 since they banned the R-12. I swear it blows colder than the R-12 did but I do had a vivid imagination.
Pretty sure it worked better than the 134 conversions in a 60. We had a spell when the auto parts stores in AZ wouldn't sell it because someone got the idea you needed a license. I was having to find it on Craigslist. Here I thought craigslist was just for people cheating on their significant others.

I've never gotten a 134 conversion below 40F at the vents... R12 system are too large for a 134 coolant conversion, IMO... I have quite a bit of Freeze 12. Got a few cases for 8$ a can a few years ago.

Today's progress... short day

new steering wheel installed
.22 long rifle casing horn fix
A/C button swapped (plastic clip was broken)
cig lighter replaced with one that works (don't smoke, but nice to have everything working)
antenna run to stereo and grounded
ran new wires for the JBL 5.25" door speakers
all A/C bents are now closable
dash cap installed (just laid it on top, want to get back under there and do a few mods-stereo mainly)
door window weatherstripping removed (new outers installed)
removed all door cards

A few Q for you:
-Is that hub-t-shirt with mud logo available somewhere? or is it too cool to be buy-able?!?!
-Does the rear brake drums interchange between the FF and the SF?
-When you change u-joints, do you measure and center, or just press them against the c-clips?
-When putting back the flanges after a pinion seal, just nut back to previous location? or cheking preload?
-When are you coming to visit?

I am right there with you, after going through several hurricanes when I lived in the Keys and dealing with water sometimes 8-12' above tide (house sat on land 3' above tide) We live on high ground now with a ravine on one side of the property and a hill going down to the river (skinny slow moving lake now, dam) on the other.

Moving a home and a shop, did it 6 years ago. I am gonna die on this property

Started the door cards today.

The front panels were toast so I cut new ones. Rear were nice enough to reuse.

Finished door panels. I had to remake the cargo panel cards... The upholstery shop was suppose to remake the cards but just recovered them and added foam to make them look good... (from the previous RANT on this F'king A$$hole)!

Everything is where it should be now! OF COURSE I ran out of new card pins.... I thought I had another full box, but it was a box of rubber washers.

I'll clean the shop tomorrow, bring Poppy in and start on the carpet.
