Any thoughts of building and selling a kit? Is that even possible?

The issue is the OE frame mounts need to be reworked or I need to design a new bracket. Then the bumper needs to be trimmed. I can easily make a template to use for this. But, it would change pending which winch was used.

But, if I decide to pursue this further, I think I will only offer it in a FULL kit with a ComeUp winch.

I would be interested in a kit after summer. How did you trim the bumper? Do you have to do anything to the cut face to prevent the chrome from chipping up?

G, cut it like normal with a zip disc, polish sand with a 320 disc. Currently I'm using a few coats of clear urethane until I can get it to the chromer for a strip and triple dip.

J did you get those new shackles from Onur yet and if so what do they measure from pin to pin?

Sorry Tom almost forgot about this.........

04481-60020: FRONTS -- 3"
04483-60101: REARS -- 3-3/8"

You have a '81- 40 series so you should have the 18mm pin as well.

Yeah J I may be in for that... crap the list of your stuff keeps growing. Need to get one of your antenna mounts, set of sliders and now the ComeUp winch with the instructions to mount in the stock bumper. One of these days I will be able to afford all these things.

Still waiting on a price from the laser cutter on the antenna mounts. But with the quantity I plan on ordering the $ will go down I think.

Poppy is headed to the upholster for complete install of carpet, seat covers and door panels next Wednesday.

You need to work up the "Full Kit" for that winch install. I feel like you would have plenty of takers. I know I'm interested. :hmm:

I just got my winch from Jason. He sent me a pic of the steel plate he used and told me to move my front
bumper forward one hole. He does offer the steel plate for extra $$ and then that's all you really need. Next
move bumper and install winch.

Man, this truck Gonna be awesome, wait, it is awesome already...it's gonna be super awesome. I'm jealous

Went by at lunch. Old carpet is stripped out and he was hand washing the floor pan. I about passed out. I told him that was above and beyond and his response was.... "We do this with all the installs"

He is re-cutting the padding. I upgraded to the foiled heat and sound deadening pad.

I'll be out of pocket for the next couple of days...

I'm headed to Salt Lake to make my rounds... Laser cutter, drop off winches, bumpers, @cruiseroutfit and to test drive a hundy or two....

Two items that are going to the laser cutter are the cb/radio antenna mounts and the B-pillar cover prototype.
