It’s been a while! Going to try and knock out a bunch of updates in one post.

Took a week long road trip through Washington, Oregon and Idaho this past fall. First stop was the Wallowa-Whitman national forest and Wallowa Mountains in NE Oregon.

After this we spent three nights in and around Stanley Idaho where we hit up several natural hot springs.

Next up was Alvord Desert and Steens Mountain. This is place I’ve been wanting to go to for some time and it did not disappoint.

Also been taking care of some regular maintenance items. Replacing pulleys and new wheel bearings from Cruiser Outfitters.

I’m also working with a mud vendor to develop some new products for the 100 series platform. More to come on that later.

A couple updates…

Installed dynamat extreme on all four doors and behind panels and under carpet in the cargo area. I forgot to snap a photo of the rear after the dynamat was installed.

Cargo area torn down.

Dynamat installed don front door. I applied two layers on both inner and outer door panels.

Also replaced all sway bar bushings and links with new oem parts thanks to @cruiseroutfit.

My secondary factory skid plate has been cracked since I’ve owned the vehicle and it finally gave up the ghost on a water crossing this past weekend. Great excuse to order some Dissent skids!

I also installed Maxtrax mounts on the dissent rack using a combo of their new design high rise awning mounts and JW Offroad Maxtrax plates. To the left of the Maxtrax, two quick fist mounts serve dual purpose to hold the rtt ladder and a shovel when in transport mode.

Last update is the camp setup from this past weekend on Tucquala Lake in Alpine Lakes Wilderness.

Looks like a really well thought out build so far.

How was the difference after the Dynamat?

Been away from the forums for a while as life has been busy. A few updates below if anyone still even follows this thread.

Moved from Seattle to LA and have been spending lots of time camping and driving trails in the desert - Anza Borrego, Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Mojave … etc.

AHC spacer lift installed with 100 series rear springs. This setup is dialed in now. Rifle weighs about 7,300lbs fully loaded and the 109 series springs keep the rear pressures in the low 6’s when fully wet. Also installed torsion bar reinforcement plates and Timbren bump stops at the same time. Still have full AHC functionality - H, L, and stiffness settings.
Made an aluminum bracket extension to dial in the rear lift after the AHC shock spacer install.

These photos are leading up to and in Berdoo canyon, but also did Old Dale Mine Rd and all the ancillary “jeep” trails in the Old Dale Mining District.

I recently reworked all the wiring in my rig using an Auxbeam 8 gang switch panel. For mounting, a PowerTray GX/4runner tray works on the passenger side on later models with the charcoal filter mounted in the rear up under the spare tire. Linked below. I used the essentials mount.

One of the highlights of last year … camping at this lake in NorCal for 3 nights. 4.5/10 jeep trail to reach the lake. Had the place all to ourselves. Water was perfect temp to swim in.

Which rear springs and torsion bars are you running? My LX is of similar weightage.

Stock torsion bars reindexed and new OEM 100 LC springs in the rear. I’m at 6.7 front, 6.0 rear with a full tank. That’s without camping gear, dogs and passenger so probably around 7,000 - 7,100 lbs.

Finished the rewiring project with the YotaMD switch mount and a Bluetti charger 1 mounted under the drawer wing. Worked flawlessly on a 6 day road trip. Also hardwired my Valentine radar detector.

I forgot that I also added an Alucab tilting fridge slide in the back bolted to my ADGU drawers. I sourced custom length hardware with captive nuts to keep the underside flush with the aDGU platform. The XS slide fits the Iceco APL35 almost perfectly.

I ditched the strap Alucab provided and used two 2ft roller cam straps to secure the fridge. This allows for quick removal when not in camp mode.
