Who else puts “parts” in their cart a dozen times before buying? 🙄

I really want to buy tires and wheels. 😑

Cheers

Constantly!

Then I click "View Cart" scroll to the bottom line, have a mild heart attack, then . . .

"delete item, delete item, delete item . . . "

until next time.

4.56 gears, RCV shafts front/rear, top mount & front mount IC, Black Box, fancy Radius arms, 12” FOX remote resi’s all around with rebound/compression adjusters, Some ARBs or ELockers (probably not running OEM) and um ya, that would kick start it pretty good! 🤦‍♂️🤗🤷🏼‍♂️😑

I got my eye on a billet timing cover for my FT as well. ✊🤡✊

Cheers
It's been my experience that OEM style control arms do not allow enough articulation before binding to utilize 12" of travel.
They do allow enough drupe to eat through OEM bushing in short order and over tax 4" extended brakes lines and push drive shaft slip joints to there limits.

I fully respect your knowledge and experience as you post some of the nicest builds on MUD.

That's a nice list of build parts !!

What are the top mount & front mount IC ?

Looking forward to seeing the black box install !!

And thanks for posting 😍

Sounds great! Buy those wheels and tires, you deserve it!

Who makes the billet timing cover?

Nice job of the metal work! Your handy work?

Nah, Chris who works for me. He is the sheet metal guy. I tore into the chassis extension today while he worked on the cab.

Cheers

Lots of prep and setup for stage one of the extension. The Troopy in the background is on an 80 chassis and wheel base is right around 118”.

Internal sleeve before boxing it in on all four sides.

Should be landing right in the 119-120” wheelbase.

Chris spent some more time after lunch massaging the cab corner before we both agreed it was good to go! 🥰

Inside the rails takes some work before you can slide the sleeves into position. Weld through primer as well.

Taking all the time we need to square everything all up.

A bunch more welding to do, burn the RLCA mounts on and to finish it off we will add a 2” dom crossmember.

Cheers

Aren't you s'posed to stack dimes for instagram cred??

Nice use of the line laser 👍
THE best invention since Noah was a lad!
