I am kind of late to this but it's never too late to share some Piggie love s we go. Bought in CO April 1st, 2015 one have been working on her slowly since. She is a work of art, hence the name I have given her....Pigasso.
She came co pellets stock, including the original tires, which I still have and am not sure what to do with. As she sits today1.5 months later, she has received a 2.5" OME lift form Cruiser Outfitters, 33x10.5x15 BFG A/T tires and a new custom exhaust. nothing special on the exhaust but the shop put on a quality can that is slightly throatier than stock, but the sound is so nice and the smell is MUCH MUCH more pleasant. The old exhaust was completely rusted out with holes all over the place. The smell was intolerable.
My plans from here on out is to keep the truck as tasteful and original as possible. I am trying to source a factory power steering gearbox, which I THINK I may have found one. Install A/C, re-vinyl the bucket seats, but after I focus on the body. I will go with OE colors. more than likely will be the darker green. I need to find the color codes for the green and I need to decide which type of white to go with. Nothing too creamy and nothing too white. will de-smog and probably will re-build the motor since the compression numbers when I was in CO were terrible. however, the truck feels strong. Not sure what to make of that. i also MIGHT upgrade to a 5 speed but am finding out that if I do that, then I will need to do this and that too. That translates in me not knowing this stuff and more $$$$$.

The day we arrived got CO and decided this Cruiser should be apart of our family of 5. My 9 year old is a Cruiser fanatic and use to help me tinker on my 40, 100 series and 200 series.

The day she arrived in South Carolina.

i was able to source a factory A/C shortly after. this has been a huge challenge and I still haven't gotten any further with it. It's a shame because summer is about here. No one is easily available to help source the parts, pressure test it and install it.

Right after the lift and 33x10.5x15 BFG A/t's. The ride quality is FAAAAAR superior. it really revealed how worn the original tires, shocks and springs were.

Rear hangers were re-located 5" back. The installer had a really difficult time with this. The front went quick and easy.

new exhaust and I had it ported to the drivers side. 2.25" pipe instead of the 2" factory pipe.

Pig looks great, not sure if you've seen this chart but it has some 55 color codes that may help with your color search.
