Paki Top install real time help needed (1 Viewer)

Thats what I thought and all that I looked at were that way but if I put it that way as in the other picture it would not fit, I thought for a while that the piece for the windshield was bent wrong, I have a front piece from an old kayline I may use it because this won't work for the long run, Larry

Johnny, Thats the way I installed it,(see picture at the top} but the rest of the top would not fit, so I put it this way and it's a tight fit, there is no way it would work the other way, I'm looking forward to what Eshan says, The other option for me is the old kayline rail(hope I can find it). I will be interesting what the others find and if your new top fits, Larry

Do all the Pakistan tops look like the above pics? If so, i think they are kinda ugly. I like the looks of the Besttop better IMHO. Window placement and shape is more aesthetically pleasing to my eye.

have you tried to email eshan directly? if you need it sooner than 6-12 months...you may just want to have him make you one and ship it to you directly...shipping will be more...i think like 400-500?? dont quote me on that ....thats what i would do IMO

If you want one now, you will be disappointed. Plan on one year from now.

It would be best if you took the time to review the other threads on the last two group buys so you understand what you are getting into.

He will do single orders, but it will be prohibitively expensive. Your best option is to form a group buy (after you have read the last two threads).

It is ok to have an unexpressed thought here, ya know.

These guys work long hours to make these things.. it's ok that you like something better but to just cut it down and say it's "ugly" wasn't cool.

hey man-
I have the same exact prob with mine. My rig also has a windshield with the wipers up top. I wonder if that is the common denominator to the bad fit.? Anyway, get that top nice and warm and the vinyl will stretch a bit more. I have considered cutting down the rear poles to get a better fit.

Benjitis1- you tard- thats the way the OEM tops look. Ehsan didnt take too much artistic license with the design.

hey im curious...what kinda hardware comes with these things? im thinking of making/having one made...a buddy of mine does boat tops, he would make it outta TOP QUALITY material and probably for a good price or trade...i know he could make the material end of things and then we might be able to figure out what i would have to rig up for hardware...just a thought if anybody has pictures of the kit unassembled, im not exactly looking to rip off the kit, if i did this i would add and change things to my own tast...im just looking for ideas, someplace to start from

Sorry to say it bud, I think it's pretty poor form to post a solicitation for a product rip-off in a thread about that vendor's product... especially right after the vendor posted no less!

Not saying that this is the same windshield they used to pattern the most recent tops with, but it shows that they have been making them correctly in the past.

These tops look great. Can't wait to get mine!
