FWIW, I powder coated mine and they've held up fine, but the dial is difficult to turn as the thickness of the PC is more than what paint will be. If I do it again I'll clean and paint.

Hi there - saw your post in painting you Alison hubs. How did it turn out?Thanks! Picked up a gold and black VHT caliper paints to do the hub cover, dial, and the extension from the rotor.
Curious...How did you keep the white raised lettering? Great attention to detail. Would love to know your technique for this. Thanks!Painted mine and was glad I did. Didn’t end up perfect but a rattle can rarely does.

Trying to remember exactly but I believe I first painted the entire hub cover face white and then used Vaseline or grease over the top of the letters when I painted the rest so they simply wiped offCurious...How did you keep the white raised lettering?
