Appreciate it, I’ll go with Toyota filter.

Obligatory pic of day I brought it home, have since removed the I-force badge and the front plastic air damper things.

Yeah - it’s just adhesive.

I used a heat gun to warm/soften it, hair dryer should work as well, and then dental floss to peel/slice it away. Then used a cloth buffering wheel attached to cordless drill to remove the remaining adhesive from the car., and finished with a little nu-polish.

Removing the left over adhesive from the car is probably the biggest pain of the job but simple enough.

I don’t have a lot of time behind the wheel of my 1958 at night, but I noticed the odd cutoff line tonight. There’s two shadows, one from each headlight. Anyone else notice this? Is there some sort of reason for this, or is something not aligned?

I have the same cutoff in my FE. I thought it was odd, but must be a design thing.

I’ve found some similar posts on various FB pages. Not ideal, but oh well. I’ll live. Haha. Thanks for the confirmation.

I was thinking it lowered the line in that location for on coming cars. I have the Land Cruiser Land Cruiser with square headlights and I have it also.

How does the AC work? I am sure it has the latest high pressure “low emission” refrigerant on the market thanks to the EPA.
No complaints here from the A/C only thing is it was about 107° out where I’m at and the A/C was having a struggle to really cool things down. I think anything above 100° and the cruiser has to put way more effort

Ashamed of the hybrid?

😂 I’m actually liking it quite a bit. Would I prefer a simpler drivetrain? Probably, but it’s a blast to drive and there are some perks with it.

Like already mentioned, the badge itself just doesn't fit, it may have survived it if was at least blacked out.

Are you aware A/C does not work as well in ECO mode? I did not know until someone pointed out but felt A/C was lacking too until I changed to NORMAL mode.

You can also leave it in ECO mode and just flip the A/C switch to give full A/C. Just have to do it everytime you restart the vehicle.

OK. I was under impression the A/C simply does not work as well in ECO. When I changed to Normal or sport the car certainly did cool down more. We are coming out of our hot season but will play with it next summer.

Horn - Does anyone else feel the horn on the 250 is a little lackluster? I don't always use the horn , but when I do. . . it just seems so weak, like it belongs in a 90's sedan.

I must be the only one that likes the horn. Best Easter egg from the quirky sounds of the FJ40 imo.

Do you have these on your 250, or just from previous experience?
