No diesels in Saudi. That’s my only connection.
Maybe these were uae or something. All the places you find online are sketchy looking though.

To those fortunate enough to be already driving a LC250..
- Does it come with Android Auto? If so, which version? The specs sheet says "compatible" only.
- Which version of Bluetooth uses? Does it have an AUX (minijack, 3,5mm...) port?
- I ordered the only version available in Spain which is the intermediate trim (gx). It has 10 speakers. Do you think it can be upgraded to the 14 JBL system easily? Anyone driving a first edition with this system? Is it good enough?

Unfortunately, there won’t be demonstrators for about two months and the backlog is already almost a year for the New Zealand market. I’ve already put down an order.

How does the AC work? I am sure it has the latest high pressure “low emission” refrigerant on the market thanks to the EPA.
No complaints at 70mph on a 90 degree day in eco mode. Temp set at 67, fan speed 2.
I had a look at a 1958 on a dealer lot last week, when it was 103f and sunny, so easily 110+ inside. I fired it up and it was comfortable inside very quickly, like under 2 minutes. At least as quickly as my 2012 4runner with tinted windows all around.
It has r1234yf like every modern vehicle, for better or worse. Costs 10x as much as r134a, does the same thing. I don't know if it's true, but I have heard you can replace 1234 with 134, just have to change the fittings.

Was showing a guy mine today and realized the starting battery is not under the hood.
Forgot to look in the manual. Thats going to make winch hookup interesting

Just need to figure out how to tap into the 3phase ac from the inverter and find a suitable winch motor.

It’s got a start battery somewhere. It’s just not under the hood
Its in the rear cargo area, bottom left pull out panel, below the jack.

I know the new Defender has its main battery under the NAS passenger seat, with a positive and negative jumper post under the hood. The factory winch installation has the winch just wired to the jumper posts.
Don't have my 250 yet, but are there jumper posts under the hood? If so, what gauge wire runs to them?

My sequoia batteries were in the same place and it came equipped with 2 starting batteries.

I’d be willing to bet there is a “power tap” under the hood somewhere. I never really looked for a primary stud on the sequoia.

I haven’t searched for a long term power tap under the hood but the jumper connection worked for running an air compressor.
Couldn’t find much info on this being the proper place to run it but the manual said this is where to jump start. Worked fine to air up after off road. Viair 400p compressor.
