sounds good, do you have a general idea of what time Thursday morning you'll be "picking us up"?

It really depends on how hard we party Wed night :bounce: In any case, I'm sure we'll roll out by 9am, earlier if Larry stops serving Turkish coffee earlier!

So, the answer is I have no idea but I can text you, assuming we have converage. On the other hand, if you monitor 146.40 on simplex, you'll hear us depending on your radio antenna situation. I'll be on the Megalink as well so you can call me on that repeater system.

KE5LED
Megalink system: NM5ML

For those of you new to this group and have a HAM call sign, please post up so that we can listen for it if you call us on the Megalink system. The Megalink connects the entire state of NM so it's very handy for this type of thing.

I should be able to meet up with you guys at the BLM campground on Wed night.
I'll be rolling in pretty late since I'm up by Los Alamos and will be working a bit late.
I got myself a BaoFeng BF-F8HP (and assuming I can figure out how to use it), I should be able to find you guys in the dark once I get in the general area.

KK6LJY

Took the trailer to work today, curious on how many pounds the new tongue

@liveoak we will be in Bisbee Wednesday night. You’re welcome to meet up with us Thursday morning. Will prolly get a bite at a greasy spoon in town that morning. Will have a live radio tuned to 146.400 both in truck and in pocket.
Kelley and Debbie.

I'll try to remember to grab the Baefong programming cable so that you'll have all freqs we deal with in addition to all of the Megalink system. Otherwise, it's a PITA to program one by one. If you can pick up an external antenna, that'll really help out everything and a standard CB mag mount will work with one exception. You'll need a SMA converter to connect the CB radio antenna to the Baefong antenna port.

ABQ crew,

If you want to convoy together, post up some potential times and locations to gather up. I suggest the dirt lot next to this Subway as a potential place right off the I-25 southbound exit (one exit before the airport exit). Everyone from ABQ, Rio Rancho, Tijeras and Los Alamos will be going by this exit eventually.

My departure will be mid afternoon on Wed and I'm not able to predict the time yet. There's a good chance Jessica and I will blow outta town asap so that we can get to the campsite for some hiking/exploring with the dogs. There are caves and junk to explore in that area I read.

Just got word from McMaster Carr, they shipped my package using UPS instead of USPS. Now, I'm going to have to have them hold it at the depot and we'll grab it on our way out of town. Bummed :bang:

Name is Alex, should be pulling into Granite Gap CG around midnight (yay!)

We're departing ABQ in about an hour, at this rate. Yay :bang:

All headed to Granite Gap. It's not a campground. Its a dispersed site.
N32.105179, W108.964566

Its 0.4 miles straight through the gate.
