meh, probably not realistically.

although if i worked straight through i can get it close.
still need steering and a radiator and exhaust.
everything else should be doable.
i have had some other priorities unfortunately.

my brother said i can take his 85 though, so that is probably the option.
i cant come down till saturday afternoon, i have a soccer game sat morn.

alright, just to show that i have in fact been doing some time on this project here are some pics.
time flies by way way too fast, and i never get enough done.

so pics show the motor all cleaned up and t belt reinstalled.
ended up doing valve cover gaskets, front and rear mains, cam and cam plugs, spark plug tube and oil pan reseals along the way.

here are pics of the conversion harness, this splices the 3.4 engine harness and ECU with the 89 4runner body harness.
from left to right, OBD2 connector, to 4runner, to 4runner, to the 3.4 ECU, to the engine harness.

the 4unner conn that is skin colored is from a 3rd gen(89-91) harness. the terminals are the same as my 4runner but the 88 3.0 truck and 88 and 89 4runners have one off plugs. this one was all over at the wrecker. i didnt have to cut anywhere on the taco engine harness or the 4runner body harness. all my splices are in the conversion harness section. should make any(hopefully none)electrical troubleshooting gravy.

the last pic is of the motor mount comparo. had to use 3.0 mounts.
order of apperance 3.4 ds, 3.0 ds, 3.4 ps, 3.0 ps. i pulled these out of a fulley dressed truck before i walked around to another row and found a 3.0 rig with no front clip at all

nice job Gnob! wish I had half your skillz :)

All I can say is "WOW!"

some progress, its been slow with the weather and my attitude.

made the rear hangers out of 3.5" by 3/16 wall box. welded washers to the inside for strength and to close the gap some. holes are drilled with 3/4" holesaw.

the front eyehole is about 6.5" forward of the stock hole. the distance from the front hanger eye to the shackle hanger eye is 54 1/4" (using Marlins 56" spring with a 4" eye to eye shackle)

measure from the axle center to the front spring eye is 26 3/8 at ride height

need to go ahead and weld these out, i wanted to make sure the axle was centered alright before burning it in. looks okay to me.

after i weld it out tomorrow i will put in the front axle and bolt on the 42s for a better idea of actual height. this is with the 1.5" BL installed but not bolted down.

i also started the t-case project. adding a 23 spline input to the front crawl box to match the R-150 trans. got the rear case apart to do the 4.7 gearset install.
heres a shot of the 23 vs 21 spline mini case inputs.

X2 :grinpimp:

Swing by my house and I'll break out the sawzall and grinder. :hillbilly:
actually i do have a SLEE 6 inch lift/ a some body lift pucks and front/rear 1 inch spring spacers. if i wanted to put 42's on the LX450 I think i could pull it off.
Extra long brake lines and a DC front drive shaft here I come!!!!!
