Kevin stopped by the campsite and we BS'ed for a while. The weather in Ouray was great and monsoon back home was in full force. Winner all around I'd say!

Sorry I missed you guys. I was up Dallas Creek Divide just on the other side of Yankee Boy Basin. I heard Ash on 146.40 a few times on my way up on Friday; was not able to connect. I was hoping to come across you guys again on Sunday. Called on 146.46 and 146.40, all was quiet.

Good to hear everyone had a good time.

Man I'm jealous. Next year's vacation will be in mid-September so maybe I'll be able to make it on an early August trip. This year just had too many other things going on just before and during the trip. I'm hoping to maybe get up to the mountains along the Conejos River and around Pagosa in a few weeks. We'll see if I can make it work. I've missed a lot of work recently with 2 weeks vacation in July and most of this week taking care of a sick wife.

Thanks for the pics - it looks like everyone had a great time! Glad to hear the weather cooperated this time. Rare not to see a lot of rain this time of year - we're certainly getting it here in the East Mtns - another 0.6 inches yesterday, when they said there was a minimal chance of precip earlier in the day.

I'm with Marc - I would sure like to get out on this trip next year. Too much other stuff going on this time.
