Events/Trails Ouray Adventure - July 28th - Aug 1st 2025

Dear HDC Club Members,

I am planning to go to Ouray in late July and do some trail runs around the Ouray area with my wife, Liz and my daughter Amanda and her boyfriend Daniel. We plan to arrive via my 2016 Land Cruiser pulling our Micro Minnie camper/trailer on Monday afternoon - July 28th and camp in Pull Through 18 at J4+1+1 campground. We were planning on departing Thursday, July 31st. I have talked with Jill at 4J and she said that she still has some camping spots open.

I wanted to extend an open invitation to HDC Club members and their friends and family, if you would like join us. This will be a less formal gathering, compared to prior years.

I'll be in the area and will try to pop into the SAS event in the KOA but hope to run into some of you at least. My spawn can't make it this year . As of now, I'll be departing abq on Fri and returning sun/mon. I'll prolly pass Larry heading home on 550!

Liz, Amanda, Daniel and I did some sweet trails today.

We started at Corkscrew via Ironton Park, headed over to Lake Como for some pan fried pizza via Hurricane Pass. Lake Como was as busy as I have ever seen it.

Daniel and I walked over to the wall and watched folks for a bit, then slide down Poughkeepsie. I think we climbed up Poughkeepsie one year - wow! Trails are all open except for Imogene on the Telluride side. There is some work on that trail and only bikes/walkers can get through. So Imogene is out and back from Ouray.
