Fun fact. Cummins, international, and a few others, use metric fasteners, but not JIS, so they use a lot of 10, 11, 13, 15.

Prepare to be disappointed, lol.

Have a Pyro yet?

It has to be more than my suburb was stock lol

No on pyro going to wait till a good deal lands in my lap for the time being. I got a couple leads but have other projects I can do in the mean time and am putting money into the garden at the moment.

Man I miss my windows phone. The keyboard and spell grammar checker was amazing. But since I got this android 3 years ago I can't type a sentence without it looking like I've been huffing paint all day. Lol

Put some time under the hood of the other diesel today. Port Authority broke the friggen hood release cable so I took some time to fix it today.

Think I may copy the intercooler and mounting location for the bronco.

Only mods we want to do to this and future defenders is a tach and better headlights

Possible fuel pin, boost and pyro if a customer really wants one.

You need to get a Pyro before you start messing with fueling settings, or else you'll blow the engine up.

I'm not messing with fuel settings that 4bt is as modded as its getting (366 spring). No reason on such a light rig that is meant for crawling.

I may change that if I upgrade to larger axles but for now that is also an uneeded expense.

Brake upgrade, adjustable seats, pyro, better airfilter set up, better headlights (already found a good deal on some LED rounds locally) and full cage will be done as I find deals on those parts.

Along with the aforementioned intercooler.

I have been talking to offroad design about one of their magnum transfer cases to have one of them be a 0.75:1, so giving me an OD for the Highway if I ever need it.

Stak already makes one that is bronco specific but its a bit spendy. But this is all down the line I don't plan on taking it on the highway anytime soon.

For a cold air set up. I'm going to be using the heater box location to build something.....

It’s actually not bad on the highway at all!

Plenty of speed and not too over revved. Certainly keeps up with traffic and can pass slower trucks!

I haven't actually put it on the highway yet...... the brakes scare the hell out of me for any amount of speed lol. I found a cheap adapter for a hydroboost unit but it will make getting to the fuel filter extremely hard so i'm researching some of set adapters.

Oh I should ad body mounts to the list of things to do the other thing that scared me was the way the body shifted with the weight..... some of the mounts are barely hanging in there.

What the heck is the point of an intercooler if you aren't going to turn it up, lol.

Fair question

At its current level it doesnt "need" an intercooler but it also doesn't need a cold air intake. They both just give the engine denser, cooler air. I don't like running turbo any things without them. My diesel burb didn't need fine either but I had all the oarts set up to install one before I got the Seattle job and dropped all projects.
Speaking of that I really wish I hadn't given away all the Cummins performance parts I had in the garage.

I'll be doing it and the CAI as I find deals on the parts I need. If I get around to one tons then I'll revisit the pumo, turbo, injectors etc....

Found some LED rounds for $30 locally on FB market place.

Picked up the lights today for $20 and before you ask @mtweller I didn't grab them fromy neighbors after the feds stormed their house lol.

She told me $30 yesterday and then told me $20 today if I could grab them now. She knew nothing about them but I couldn't go wrong at that price.

Her roommate moved out and hasn't been back to pick up his things from the garage.... She gave him 8 months and then started to list things.
They are some JW speaker knockoffs still in box. Doesn't matter much they will throw more light than the bic lighters up there now.

New headlights installed. The cut off on the one with one stock one new is wrong because I accidentally installed it upside down lol.

Lol, the defenders are just a new business my brother is testing the waters in. Our cousin finds them, he buys them and so far I sell them. I've sold 2 so far that he has made about 30k off of. This one is held up because the idiot lost the paper work and is waiting on replacements. We also find cars from over here to send back to our cousin in Wales to sell. A few ferrari's, muscle cars, 80's trucks, etc.... he is in Thailand right now doing a year abroad so that part has stopped and we don't know if he wants to pick it up again.
He is going to start doing it full time when he moves up here after his house sells and they sell their current business in LA. At some point i'll start investing my cash in the business also to make some side money off of it but for now i'm to focused on finishing my credentials.

TBH this thread isn't that good of a read so far so i'm trying to get some things done, no matter how little and put them in there. The poor thing sat for a while, because I had no money or time to throw at it sadly. I'm trying to rectify that. We will take it camping when the state reopens and we will make the bronco round up down in OR. Might try to get @addicted56 and the family to join us on that. Seeing this thing run may kick his butt into gear to finish the diesel swap on his Fj43.

The Bronco is Andrea's i'm just the mechanic although I do get a say in what happens with it. It was time for her to have a fun vehicle and me to just have fun working on it. They have been her favorite vehicle since she was a kid. The plate we will get for it next year will say HrBrnco. And once I get the brakes done i'm going to have @jamesurq make some custom shirts that say my bronco and the one I wear will say her bronco... lol.
I'll most likely get myself a 105 cruiser in a few years or a 130 Defender for myself if I do get into my brothers business. We will see.

Good to hear from you
