Tony's BBQ b!tch... If you're eating meat at Rubithon, I probably had something to do with it

Hey Tony, does the waiver of the 2006 Premier package fee promotion also apply to us folks here in Oregon?

Timinator:beer:

Hi Tim...

As long as your are a member of a TLCA Chapter in Good Standing, your TLCA dues are current (or you renew them via the Rubithon registration)... then yes.

Note: While I can offer incentives for Rubithon attendance, I cannot offer TLCA membership that is included in the Premier Pack. So while I have noted the Premier Pack fee will be waived, it will not include TLCA Membership. It's not mine to waive. :-)

I hope you make it Tim!

When are the dates for the Rubithon?? This thread says 21-25 and the TLCA web sight says 15-21.

Thanks

The TLCA site is incorrect. Those were the 2005 dates. This year is the week following Father's day

Hmmm, Interesting.

Rubithon is the week before we are leaving for Alaska Cruiser Trek so money is tight and all my holidays for the year will be used up in AK. Let me see if I can do the math...
First, convince three pals that sleep is a bad idea.
Thursday AM start coughing and sneezing in the office.
Thursday afternoon, go home 'sick' at 3PM
Thursday 3:30 PM, Jump in the Super Dodge with two Cruisers already loaded on the gooseneck.
Drive 1100miles straight to the trailhead ~20 hours. (remember to call office, still sick)
Friday 2PM unload at Icehouse. Pre-authorized outlaw run trying to stay ahead of Marlin.
Sat 2AM arrive at springs.
Sleep all day
Raffle Sat night.
Sat 11PM Up Cadillac, around to Icehouse.
Sun 4AM camp at Icehouse.
Sunday 10AM, hit the road 20 hours home.
Monday 8AM show up at the office, still looking sick.
Recoup/wrench for four days then 21-10hour days to/from AK.

Yep, just might work, I'll have to pack a lunch.:D

Is there a sign up or registration form out yet?

No it isn't available yet.

If you do we'll see each other at three events this year. Might want to reconsider.... :D

why not offer this i all new tlca member that have never been to a TLCA Event. Or to you so-cal brothers that are in the state right to the south. but i soulds like a great idea. Just an out of UCI punk kid.

Tony,

How do we do this on the registration form? I assume we are still supposed to fill one out.

Eric V.

Yes Eric... simply fill out as normal, note meeting requirements and omit fee.

I will follow up on all requirements to ensure folks are current and active with both TLCA and referenced chapter.

thanks!

yes, its friday at 7 AM.

Where did you find that Scott... I'll see about correcting.

It's on the rubithon.com site under trail descriptions. I thought it was a night run and I was going to ask about rock-lights.

Dan

The night run, which was left off the form as a formal run due to extremely limited participation, would be Thursday night. Jim and Duke are available to take folks through at night if anyone is interested.

What about if I am a colorado resident and a member in no club but am a in good standing with my commander who happens to have me assigned in northern california :)

Never mind, I'm coming anyway and plan on paying :) I just hope my losing streak in TLCA raffles will be broke.
