If anyone is looking for cheap but decent work clothes

Schmidt work pants- at 17.99 on sale at tractor supply they have been going for about 8 months sliding around in metal shavings and heavy machines no rips yet and wash out pretty well.

Dickies work shirts- from Walmart at 7.99 they have done pretty good what surprised me is they outlasted my Carhartt work shirts.

Amazon Alexa - we programmed it to turn our lights off. Why? Because I hate getting up to turn our lights off. We had a clapper, but it would turn on if the dogs barked. Dogs can't speak the words "Alexa, lights" as of yet but they're trying.

Mion Sandals - Been wearing them for YEARS. Because they last for YEARS. And they have been out of business for YEARS, so I can't get them... Ended up stocking up on quite a few sets, so they ought to outlast me. (Marie Shandor swears by them as well)

Carhartt Pants - They are comfortable like jeans, but they look nice enough with a polo shirt that I don't get "the look" from my boss for not presenting a professional image. Plus, in spite of being a desk jockey, I do climb all over aircraft and get dirty. These things last.

Taco Bell - Not a day has gone by where I've said "You know, I'm not in the mood for Taco Bell." I'm always in the mood for Taco Bell. It's where I took my wife after we got engaged. It's where I took her on our honeymoon. The couples that eat at Taco Bell stay together.

Ovation Guitars - I have owned several and I love the sound as well as the comfort.

Kamado smokers - I have a BGE, but I love smoking. I like trying other people's recipes, although my wife is convinced that nobody (including all the fancy barbecue places around town) can beat my pork or ABT's. I have a PartyQ to regulate temperature for overnight smokes. It works well.

Went through this recently and there literally thousands of chairs out there and they either get mixed reviews or are hundreds of dollars.

We purchased two of the Costco bungee camp chairs (Timber Ridge or some s***). Super comfortable but they are not light or compact. Totally acceptable for our clubs typical type of camping.

Was looking for a link but they are not listed on their site. I think they were maybe 35 bucs each.

Oz tent.... most comfortable and durable camp chair i've ever had

Gave mine away when I moved but need to get another. The new one is great for cold weather camping also as it has hot spot pouches in it.

Which one? Oz Tent appears to make more than one chair. OZTENT Furniture

I'm looking for specific recommendations, not a brand to seek out :P

I've sat in every one and they are all more comfortable than the ARB's I had at one point.

But the one I had was the King Goana Chair.

I've tried out the Jet tent chairs at the expo also and they are top notch aswell.

Bar Keeper's Friend: Try getting those half or fully clad pots clean with anything else. Don't use it on cast iron cookware though. It also brightens up copper nicely.

Klean Kanteen Wide Insulated Bottle: I’ve had one for a few years and I drink out of it almost every day. It’ll keep ice all day long and won’t leak or sweat. I have another for my coffee with the “Cafe” lid that keeps coffee hot well past lunch if I don’t get to it.

ARB Adventure Light 600: I won one at CRR and it’s pretty damn cool. Bright as hell, USB rechargeable and it has magnets or hooks to put it where you need light. Not sure I’d pay $60 for one, but definitely glad I won it.

Yep. I prefer the powder to the liquid by a mile. Especially for copper.

Yes, I should have added that. I use the powder all the time and almost forgot they had the liquid variety anymore.

Yes yes - "The BarMAID's Friend" vs the keeper!

BTW - The green gold bond should be added to the lists.

I like York peppermint patties ;)

When Stan bites into a york peppermint patty, he gets the sensation of sitting in a Toyota 140 or 142 series landcruiser, hearing the growl of a hopped up LS engine, and the sudden rush as he presses the happy pedal, and gets thrust deep into the seat....

After my wife claimed my ARB chair, she tasked me with finding a suitable replacement. I remembered the love that Al gave to Oztent, so I gave them a look. He recommended the Goana, but I went with the King Kokoda because I like the rigid arm rests; they allow you to prop yourself up after you've tipped a few back and need to get up for whatever reason. I later noticed that Forrest went with the same chair, so, that was validation that there may be better chairs out there, but I don't know what they are.

Always ask large people about comfortable chairs.. lol

I do need to get another one after house buying is done. I'll check out the Kokoda again... I just remember thinking the rigid arm rests may not feel that great after lots of beer and being tired.

Yeah, the rigid arms were the things that I loved MOST about the ARB chair... It is so easy to get up after I've been sitting on my butt for a while. Which is, far and away, my favorite thing to do when I'm on vacation. Seriously. Of course, after sitting in the King Kokoda, wife has told me to use the ARB or go buy another OzTent. Maybe we'll try the Goana this time, not sure. One drawback: it takes up a lot of space... But if sitting in camp is your thing, I can't think of a chair I'd rather use.

Thanks for the recommendation guys. This is what I was looking for :)

Is that the chair that you have @forrest5000 , the oz-tent kokkada?
