This place is strange. Just saying. Long bloody days. 16 hour workdays.
I just ducked out of my gig to grab a fast dinner at a large beer hall next door. Sat at the giant bar because there were open seats. Four debutante-looking girls in their mid to late 20's came and stood next to me and pestered the bartender about half of the drinks on the board before ordering. They ordered and got their drinks. Drank them. Asked for and got the bill. One girl gives her credit card. When it comes back she writes VOID over the tip and total lines and scratches through the signature line. Tells her friends "It's cool. They don't mind this at all". Then they all left. The total was $45. I know this because she left it on the bar right next to me and she was very loud. Looked and sounded very sober.
Can she really think that they didn't just charge her card? Or does she likely make a habit of doing this then disputing the charges?

Last time Rae and I were in Charlotte we witnessed a similar situation with 4 debutante looking girls. What's with that place? The bartender looked pretty deflated and said it's normal.

I find it amazing people think that they can get away with that crap. She left the receipt behind so they know who she is. I would press every charge that applied and make sure that it was well covered in the local press. Not really shocked though as many of the current 20 somethings have an entitlement attitude that is over the top.
Scary part is these are the people that will be in control when I am retired.

I think the 3.0 liter V6 diesel would be my swap of choice. Right size for it to fit most anything, 420 ft lbs (plenty to pull without ripping out the rear ends) and 240 HP. ANY new diesel is also going to come with ECU/harness needs not known in the old days. I wonder if the DEF system can be deleted from a new diesel and it still be happy.

Hadn't driven the 40 in a week or two, starts right up and purrs... About 2 miles from the house, throttle cable breaks... Not in a spot where someone could grab it and pull
So, thank GOD for the torque of the Chevy. I was able to slip the clutch a little and roll home. Even made it into 4th gear down the hill at one point.
So throttle cable ordered. Did I mention it purred?

Just got this from the best woman any man could ever want/need. Our 25th wedding anniversary was last week and this came a little late. Cheap on gas and keeps the IPhone protected.
