Dang we are about to hit an irregular freeze starting on xmas here in my area of PNW.
Something like highs in the mid twenties for the entire week and lows around 8. I've never hit single digit weather at my house here. We do get some sporatic days with highs in the mid twenties (normally in February) but never for an entire week.
Time to fly to LA and work from our office there and stay with family. LOL

At an antique store today for work I found a few old four wheeler mags. One of them had this article that I've read 100 times on the net. Kinda cool to have a hard copy.

Daimler warns car owners of fire risk it lacks parts to fix
Daimler's Mercedes-Benz has informed owners of its luxury cars of a technical defect that could spark a fire, the company said on Tuesday, adding a recall was not possible because parts needed to fix the problem are not available.
This is the road I was supposed to drive today to do a work inspection. Whites pass was supposed to only get a foot of snow over the last week and be the pass to take, although one that is pretty far south from me.

USS Kitty Hawk left a US port of call for the last time earlier in the week. Currently on a 126 day cruise around the tip of South America, back up yo the gulf coast to her final resting place. I've been watching them gut her for about 3 years now, taking all the vital systems and parts out. Sad to see the big girl go.
