My Superflow MV-50 finally released the magic smoke yesterday. I'm fine buying another to replace it, but figured I'd see if anybody here has, and would recommend, the VIAIR 300P. Anyone?
I have the 400p and I'm pleased with it.

I have the 88p. It's works as spec'd and their site shows the 300p is a step up in output but duty cycle is about the same. Both are rated for up to 33s but if I am reading this right the 300p is better rated for routine use. I have shared mine often for larger tires and expect diminished service life but also try to keep some cooling time between tires when not in a hurry

Ben, I guess the only OPINIONS that matter are the ones that agree with yours. Well I am entitled to my OPINION as well. The easiest thing to do is just put me on block.
The funny thing, for me, its that I have to "Show Ignore Content" to see what you were referring to. Some people are just consistent.

I like my VIAIR a lot. I have the 300P and it goes from about 17psi to 42 on my 33s in 3 minutes per tire.

Trying to resist the urge to now buy a VIAIR! Just got notified that my solo Yukon is on it's way from a previous discussion......I need to stop looking at MUD so much.....

Just got our Yukon kit the other day. Looking forward to christening this weekend! It's a lot bigger in person than I had envisioned via the measurements. Stoked we can run it on our wood deck without issue.

I know folks say you can do it, but it just doesn't seem right to me for some reason. I just see me standing over the smoldering ashes of my house telling the firemen "But.....it's supposed to be just fine using this to have a campfire right on your wooden deck with no problem!"

I know the feeling, I’m looking at VIAIR now too. Anyone have a good place for me to order a 400p?

I had / have the same reservations. I've been privy to 2 Solo fires on decks and one on grass that convinced me it really is safe. No fire will be unattended at the Weller household and the deck is due a reseal in the next year or so, so if it does affect that it won't be the end of the world. It's crazy to feel actually how cool they are under the ring. But if McDonalds is liable for coffee being severed hot, I'll have my legal council on retainer just in case.... ;)

Hey ONSC!

Wanted to stop back by and say hello! Still have our 40 (has been in a shop for almost 18 months now, just slowly working on things). I called him yesterday to get him moving to wrap up the work. Being sent to a fabricator to redo some really s***ty motor mounts for the 350. Then a new radiator and new carb, and we should be back to me.

Need to get suspension and wheels/tires for it. I sold it all last year during quarantine to raise some money when I was unemployed!

On a totally separate note.... In between pontifications, I was showing my wife an ad for a '73 FJ40 that is for sale. She said "oh cool, how much?" *I answer* "Really? Go ahead, contact them and buy it." That was too easy. I feel like...

I don't know what to do now....

I was right...it was a trap...kind of. I don't get an old FJ40, but I'm going to pick up a '95 FZJ80 tomorrow. All references she's made to the vehicle today were in the context of it being her truck.

It looks like I get the maintenance crew and navigator duties

PARTSOUQPHOBIA

Definition: that feeling you get right before placing order with PartSouq and trying to remember the stupid $0.54 washer they have that will now cost $15 to ship by itself, but would have been $0 shipping on order you are just placing.

If anyone would like a copy of this month's Toyota Trails, let me know. Apparently as part of being Marketing VP I get a big pile of them to hand out.
