You should talk to someone from the power and gas company, maybe they can get you the hookup with modern LED lights.
I did like many others and got my free box of energy saving LED's from Duke Energy. While they did all work they were ridiculously loud ... pulled them out and trashed them.

The box we got a couple years back have all been quiet but I'm sure I'll start hearing them now. Or at least I'll start constantly listening. Thanks a lot @Rice.
That might have been the last CFL left in the house. Pretty much every light except the oven and range hood already had those things in them when we moved in. Couldn't stand to replace a perfectly fine bulb just for sport so they've remained until they've died!
Speaking of home LED lights I have several boxes anyone wants any for free. I do have some standard bulbs and for some damn reason I have several boxes of LED flood lights. I would prefer to see these not go to waste.

They are yours then. I checked and I have four brand new ones left. Sorry I thought I had more, but they are yours if you want them. I can always meet up with you if you are ever out in Raleigh or can hold on to them for you until all this Rona crap is over with. I am good either way.
