Where’s the best time place to get a LX450 key copied in the triangle?

Johnson Lexus wants $67

I got my 80 key copied at home depot for less than $5.

It’s a non transponder key, but because it’s a Lexus it’s inverted like a VW. I wish Home Depot could cut these.

Ah didn't realize the 450's used different keys
Yep. Us LX guys have to use special keys because of the way our nose is a little higher driving around. :pig:

But seriously I’ve actualy been looking at swapping all my key cylinders out of a Landcruiser.

I'd just buy a cheap blank on ebay, amazon, etc.... and then find a locksmith that will do it for cheap.

may also be worthwhile to reach out to FAT or Scott Clark, they may be able to cut those keys.

Don't know if you guys have a keys to go , but I paid 22 for mine

For some reason on mine, in early 2000, Lexus swapped only the drivers door and ignition switch, so the other cylinders don’t match and the key code comes up for the passenger door. So with out a copy I’m screwed.

Well A few weeks ago my oem Lexus key disappeared (pretty sure little fingers put it somewhere). Anyways, while buying oil filters a few months ago, I asked the the parts guy at Lexus, (I had a blank from eBay) so he made a copy using my key for free. Thankfully I have that copy now so I’m not screwed.

It helps to have a cute little girl Charming the guys at the parts counter.

Not enough information? What if I added Charo to the list???

If you guessed that they were all, along with so many others, on one single glorious episode of Love Boat then you'd be right! And it's on right now. And I missed almost the whole damn thing. Turns out that the Decades network has been playing Love Boat movies all day while I was out being productive. Damn the luck. I love all that old crap. I swear I'm gonna hook back up the VCR one day.

Top 5 TV theme song ever. Here is my list:

1. Game of Thrones
2. WKRP in Cincinati
3. MASH (with lyrics - "Suicide is Painless")
4. Golden Girls "Thank you for being a friend"
5. Love Boat
6. Greatest American Hero (honorable mention)

Magnum and True Blood - well played. I will have to listen to the rest :)

Sanford and Son
What's Happening
Jeffersons
Honeymooners
I'll use #5 to simply say that Family Ties has the WORST theme song.

**I recently yelled out "Greatest American Hero" to a piano player at a bar when he asked for requests. Damn 26 year old kid nailed it! Oddly, a group of women went nuts over it. I so wished I was single. My type of people (and damn hard to find).
